"Great gun, Overall Lenght is about 3FT 2IN. So 38IN, sorry man sounds like your case won't work.... You might try taking off the extension or shortening the stock.
Notes on gun,
Range is Impressive, over 150FT.
Accuracy is Poor, you have about a 1FT spread after 60Ft. You have to rain them bbs to utilize its range.
Clip is decent, I recommend buying a 500round one.
Barrel is a little short, you can get replace the barrel with one about 20mm longer, even more if you go up into the flash hider. I bought a 450mm madbull and it was still concealed but did not improve accuracy, still working on that problem.
Body is amazing, everything is metal except the end of the stock and the hard grip, which neither need to be metal. Even the hopup is metal.

"This is a fairly well put together gun and a good FPS but its not that great for a sniper. Since it comes stock at 400 FPS and most spring/gas snipers go from 400-550 FPS, this has some serious ground to cover. Its good at closer ranges but needs a spring upgrade (preferably an M160). The ROF is OK, shooting around 12 rds/sec, and other M4/M16 mags dont fit nearly as well as the one it comes with. If you really want a sniper just buy a gas or spring one, springs are about $100 and a good gas such as the KJW M700 is $200 like this gun.

"I baught this gun and its bada** but theres a flaw. The Magazines have to be forced into the gun for them to work. I baught 2 extra ones and the after market ones dont work, only the stock one so i was dissapoited. Other than that i kill crows like there little mice =]

"I agree with the 4 star rating it has good range and good rate of fire but at a certin point it gets inaccurate i would suggest heavier bb's lke .23 or .28.

"Great gun. Solid externals that can take a beating, with fairly good internals, but should be upgraded. Comes with a large type battery, which is a plus, as well as a Harris-style bipod and a foregrip.

"I’ll start by stating my intentions for this gun are to gut it and fully upgrade this into a super robust DMR shooting 450fps. With that said I knew going in I wasn’t expecting much internal quality on this platform. Ordered this on Black Friday weekend 2019 and received it the following Thursday. The external quality is decent and should last however in true A&k fashion the material used for the screws has the same durability as tin foil so be careful not to over tighten. The weapon “functioned” however the piston seal was so bad the the bbs flew 20 feet and hit the ground. If you buy this gun, you’d better also get a cylinder head piston and piston head in that same order. The hopup unit functions however needs readjustment frequently. If you are like me and plan on a complete overhaul, you’ll have a nice unique DMR body that’ll surely turn heads and provide a good external base platform.

"Bought it mainly for the body because who doesn’t love a mk12 mod 0. Out of the box it was decent but not exceptional, shimming and air seal were horrible but I was changing it anyways. I changed all of the air seal parts, put in an R-hoped 455mm 6.02 and reshimmed it. Which gave pretty snappy trigger response and great range and accuracy. However after about 200 rounds using a 7.4 LiPo, the trigger contacts broke and it will no longer shoot. Definitely get a mosfet (not plug and play) if you plan on using a LiPo in any way. There’s a little wobble between the upper and lower receiver which is easily fixed with some spacers. Pass that the body is solid and as long as you replace most of the internals you’ll end up with a pretty decent rifle.
