Matrix MOLLE S.D.E.U. High Speed Airsoft Tactical Vest (Color: Black)

"Been waiting for the black vest to be back in stock for a long time and it was well-worth the wait. Shipping to Canada was not exactly cheap after customs fees and whatnot but I couldn't find this exact vest in Canada anywhere as it's exclusive to Evike.

Onto the vest itself. Everyone who said it fits small is right, which is part of the reason I got it. I am 5'2 and 145 lbs and it fits me perfectly. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 5'7, which most of you probably are as it's probably going to fit like a crop top. Most other vests I've found don't fit me, except lightweight plate carriers. Quality wise, I don't know how well it can stand up to running and crawling around outside, as I got it for cosplaying of Twitch and Rook from R6S. There were some loose threads that I had to cut.

"First off, its not wise to buy this thing on pre order because you wont get it for quite some time, as what had happened to me. But when i had gotten the vest i had to say, it was very well built. It comes with a lot of patch space and protections. The arm guards strap on with straps that wrap around the arm, and the lower part attaches through clips on the front and back (you can understand where the clips go through). As a 6'3" person it fits rather well for me, but lacks some protection in the armpit area, but that can be easily fixed. It has great neck protection. The vest itself is well made and it can be easily folded as well. Great purchase but shipping is something to be desired.

"This vest did not fit me, granted I am a larger dude standing 6'1". I will say tho that a buddy put it on and he gave it props for comfort. Long story short im returning it but if you are of smaller size, this vest would be good.

"Pretty sturdy vest. Removable groin, shoulder and neck guards. So much MOLLE you can really go crazy. Its even on the groin, neck and arm guards! Medium fits me just right, and Im 5' 6" and 160, with a few adjustments. The velcro is alil tough to peel at first so i would recommend you to put it through a runs, but over all really good vest.

"I have been using this vest for about 6 months now. I personaly love this vest but, from playing in multiple events and fields I can tell you this vest is best suited for a heavy load out. I even took the neck and shoulder guards off. (because they were eritating and made it hard to move around) But I only use this vest in airsoft games spaning over a cupple of hours. I run on it 12 mags, 3 smoke, 3 thunder B's and an admin pouch. Other than that great vest.

Pros:
LOTS of molle.
great protection.
light weight.
easy to move in.
If properly fited it will stay tight to your body.

Cons:
OVER heats even in cold whether games.
is not able to take plates.

(I only gave it a 4 because of the fact that it is a little bulky)

"This is the best vest ever. I have it for about 2 months now and has served me well.

Pros:
lots of molle.
great protection.
looks mean.
light weight.
easy to move in.
stays tight to your body to stop it flopping around.

Cons:
gets really hot.
inner strap is comfortable but needs to be repositioned about an 2 inches down.
is not able to take plates.

Its a great vest (perfect for swat load outs).

cons:
-Hard to go prone if you're wearing a hat backwards (messes with collar)
-Gets hot. (just standing there before a match during the summer, sweat was rolling down my back)
-The fabric on the inside that connects to the outer fabric material was coming apart in two spots. (could just be mine.)

"I bought this vest around January and I have used it just running outside and shooting tests. I would first like to say that it is very snug and you feel very safe wearing it. It does though restrict your movement a bit but that is to be expected as more protection = less range of motion.

When being shot by a 350+ .2 gram bb you can feel that you are getting shot but its no where as painful as being shot just with a t-shirt on

The major downside to this vest is that its not quite long enough for me. It says one size fits most/all well I guess I am outside of that range! It comes down to around my navel and the crotch guard doesn't quite make it to the crotch region and the strap tends to be a little tight as well. Now mind you I am around 5'7" and weigh around 240 lbs. Even when my stomach is sucked in it sits at the same spot, so its probably my broad chest that gets in the way. Stupid bodily proportions! haha!

Ok the tl;dr version:

Pros: You will feel very safe (of what it is covering)
Plenty of Molle
Fits snugly
Fairly easy to take on and off (could be easier)

Cons: Does not cover my whole stomach
Crotch protection doesn't protect crotch
Range of motion is cut down

"just got this vest it barley fits me not good for 200+ people. it doesnt go all the way down to my waist either . theres no slots to put plates . but its worth it for the winter not for summer play

"It's a nicely built vest and it seems to be very high quality, but the fact that it can't be adjusted for anything is what ruined it for me. I'm a tall and built guy and this vest simply will not fit. They could have put a lot more thought into this vest.

For the people who ask if this will fit them based on their height and weight, here's the simple solution:

If you consider yourself to be bigger than average in weight or height, it's probably not gonna fit.

Rating: 3/5, only for the fact that it's well built in terms of durability. I will be returning it.

"I just got this in the mail and its construction seem to be well, but it's sized small an not really adjustable and for me was to short. So if you are over 6 foot don't buy.

padding is not removable unless you make a cut out
inner belt needs better fitting
inside of the vest is not meshed so you will sweat even in winter games
Padding feels like bubblewrap

I will not recommend this item unless you are willing to modify it by stitching/sewing onto it.
