"To start, out of the box, the hop-up was bad and mid-game the mag release broke because of a little pin that sits to keep the thing in place, fell out.
I ended up replacing the hop-up unit and nozzle with aftermarket parts from Czechoslovakia as well as a new Bucking, Motor and to compensate for the shit manufacture job for the mag-release, I superglued a cover on the two openings to keep the pin inside from falling out
If you couldn't already tell, this gun is not a hot n' ready Little Caesars pizza but perfect for tech-savvy airsofters. (which was something I was not, at first)
The positives on the A&K ACR QCB are:
It has a great exterior design the stock is great and it is collapsible.
And that it
Sure I could say that oh it's "different and older" or how it's "customizable" or "OMG MW2 2009, SIMON RILEY GHOST" and while that's cool and all but it's outdated compared to today's hyped-up market.
Regardless, I believe that if you replace parts and address issues in the gun you will see great performance.
FOR FUTURE BUYERS
Go get a newer gun or learn airsoft tech basics
Replace the hop-up and nozzle with metal parts, a metal loading nozzle if you want to. MAKE SURE you buy the right measurements

Get good gears, shim the gearbox put in a better piston.

"The A&K Masada ACR is one of the more cost friendly options to getting an ACR.
with that being said the gun itself has okay quality and has a good bit of features, but lacking in quality control
MIND YOU: this is a MASADA not an ACR. The Masada and ACR have different charging handle locations!
Some Pros
-good build quality
-quick change barrel system
-consistent accuracy
-room for upgrading internals
Some cons:
-Proprietary design
-Not very modular external wise
-NO battery space
-Not the greatest quality control
Addressing some of these cons.
The external body design is rather unqiue which is cool but not very great when stuff breaks.
The ACR was built to have everything you need with it so the overall modularability of rail systems and stocks is rather very limited. you can get rails to add to it like a MOE handguard would.
A BIG BIG issue with this gun is the battery space. If i were you get a peq and feed it through the handguard.
Lastly my gun came with a bad motor and kept popping fuses on the gun. replace that motor ASAP
OVERALL
i give this gun a 3/5 and i suggest it to someone who wants a project gun. The body quality is there but stock internals are awful and if not for the 199 price drop. Id advise a different brand ACR Masada

"tl;dr- This isn't a BAD gun, but you pay for the cool factor more than quality. I'd recommend a more common rifle model unless you just HAVE to have an ACR.
This was my first real AEG, and I used it for about 2.5 years before it developed problems I couldn't fix and I replaced it with a CYMA CM-040D AK-74. Specifically, the hopup started having issues after I replaced the inner barrel, and eventually started double-feeding almost every shot. I shelved it as a prop after reseating the barrel and replacing the bucking didn't fix it.
In summary, this gun feels and looks pretty amazing. It's metal where it should be, heavy enough to feel realistic, and will probably be the coolest looking gun on the field. It actually performs reasonably well stock, with decent accuracy and FPS and a rate of fire that isn't too terrible compared to other guns in the price range. It's reasonably easy to take apart once you find a decent instructional video. It fed from every M4 magazine I put in it. I was very happy with this gun until I decided to take it apart and mess with it. The single biggest problem with this gun, in my opinion, is that it uses a proprietary hopup. I see why, too: the engineers wanted it to field strip like a real ACR, which couldn't be done with an M4 hopup. That didn't make it any less of a pain when I accidentally bent the C-clip when replacing the inner barrel, after which the gun became nothing but trouble. It wasn't just the hopup either: the ambidextrous fire selectors have a bit of a tendency to fall off if the retention screw works loose, and if the selector gears somehow get out of alignment, you're going to have a hard time getting them straight again. The battery compartment is in the handguard, and you have to take a pin out to access it. I lived in fear of dropping that pin in the field. The hole for mine was also too small, and I had to take a file to my brand new rifle to get the handguard on. The battery compartment is tight, and the largest battery that will fit is a 9.6V 1600mAh small or butterfly type.
The included sights are terrible, I replaced mine with some real steel sights from a M&P15-22. There is nothing resembling a forward sling mount, meaning you'll have to stick something on the MOE slots on the handguard and hope it doesn't interfere with the battery. The inner barrel is a pain to get realigned correctly if you have to take it out.
Pros:
Looks absolutely awesome
Realistic(ish) weight
Decent stock performance (accuracy, range, FPS, ROF)
Collapsible and folding stock
Functional charging handle and bolt catch
Ambidextrous fire selector, bolt catch, and mag release
Uses M4 mags
Cons:

The cost keeps it from being a good entry-level gun, and the lack of upgrade potential keeps it from being high-end
Verdict: I wouldn't buy it again. This gun is better at looking cool than it is at anything else. It's not that it's terrible, it's that there are better options for the ~$200 price tag. I'd recommend either a G&P M4 or M16 variant, which will be better in almost every way for a similar price. If you do buy this gun, for the love of everything good in this world don't take it apart unless it's already broken or if you know what you're doing.

"Must say that INITIALLY I was impressed when I first received this rifle. Upon first inspection before putting any better to it it seems extremely solid, I have seen people complain about the barrel wobble relating to the quick-detach feature, but there is a just meant and you can really tighten very well if you pay attention. However after a little bit of use the shortcomings become apparent.
Pros
Beautiful externals, absolutely gorgeous tight and solid
The ambidextrous features are nice
Long upper rail
Locking bolt catch and cool location of bolt release
Cons
Stock hop up chamber is atrocious. They sell an aftermarket chamber which I purchased as well but you are forced to reuse several of the hop up parts including the plastic slider which simply does not stay put
The fire selector does not click securely into place, several times and I was supposed to be in a semi only game I very easily bump the fire selector to the full auto position
Internals seem to be iffy at best. My gun now fires full auto whether in semi or full auto position but the safety still works
Body pin holds on the front hand guard doesn't quite stay put very well, actually lost it during a game because of the loose fit
In conclusion if you are tech savvy then this might be an excellent choice for you. I don't feel like this is a long term rifle without getting into the gearbox, however the externals are truly beautiful and if you are willing to put in the time this is a very unique build. In addition the hop up leaves much to be desired, and the fact that they have you reuse terrible parts that are poorly designed is simply a letdown that will require a bit of imaginative problem solving. I would probably buy this rifle again but only because I am confident in a gearbox. Because I have not opened it up yet I can't comment on the shimming quality AoE or gears themself. Too many other projects and this kind of got shuffled to the side.
On a side note lol at the guy who said this might not work well for CQB. People always say that about the longest rifles. Duh!

"okay, let me start off by telling you every thing about this gun is great except the horrible hop up, mine came with a missing nub so the hop up didn't work and when i tried to return or replace it at the store I bought it from (not evike) they said they couldn't repair or replace it because of magpuls quality control, I ended up spending more money on a flat hop and still have to have a tech install that (I'm not very good with AEG internals)

"I bought this rifle about 1 year ago and it is not the best for it's buck I have had a few problems with it and it built to make you buy more for it. The MOE handgaurd is not the best construction, the bolt catch broke with in after a few uses and the hop up is aweful stock .
Pros: the look of the gun is unique
The quick change spring
The rof
Cons: there is no easy point to attach a sling without buying a mod
The bolt catch brakes eaisily
The MOE hand guard is tight to the body of the gun leaving little room for batteries

"this gun is very good with just default factory settings however, a month after i got mine stuff in my gearbox started to break, i dont know if i got the ugly duck out of the bunch but the parts are not of the highest quality from what i have seen. still a good gun if you dont mind getting your gun upgraded/fixed

"I had many problems with this gun. I did a lot of research on it before I bought it, and a lot of the problems, I never heard of before, so don't like this review change your mind on the gun, I think I just got unlucky.
The problems I had were when I would shoot on full auto, it would shoot semi-auto for like every other trigger pull. The selector switch was still on full auto, it would just shoot on semi. The other major problem was that the screw on the motor plate would always loosen by itself, and destroy my gears.

*The plastic felt AMAZING
Cons:
*The flip up sight they give you wiggles around alot
*Battery is a b1tch to get in

I gave it 3 stars because my first AEG, which was $120, lasted way longer than this. I was always having to do work on the gearbox for multiple reasons. But I would reccomend this gun if you are very, very familiar with AEGS.

"This gun is okay, but not 100% great. Looks awesome, nice quality polymer fiberglass outer body. About 60 % of this gun is all metal. It does not come with a battery, so you need to provide your own. The barrel does not have threads, so you cant change it out for a smaller barrel. Flash hider can be changed out, just be sure to use a wrench to get it off, cause its glued on. I agree the FPS is not great, and the ROF is kinda bad, even with a 9.6v battery. Speaking of battery, its near impossible to get the thing in, cause the front handguard comes off and you gotta get the battery in there and after put the hanguard back on. All in all 3 of 5 star rating.
