"Put this on my cyma 612 hand a rough time getting it on and had to remove the adjustment pin to get it on the buffer tube
But its a good stock
by fred w. on 10/08/2020
"cons:
QD sling points don't hold a QD sling. Takes very little force to pull the sling loose.
Color is more of a dark grey with a green tint than the pictured Desert color. Time to learn gun painting or use cameo wrap.
meh:
Had to remove the front battery covers and add a little PTFE grease to get it to fit on the buffer tube. I think it's worth modifying the battery covers to keep them on.
pros:
Lots of battery room.
Snug fit, won't wobble any time soon.
Much easier to get to the battery than the 6mmProShop MK18's standard Dytac stock.
Butt padding looks very durable.
Molon labe logo is cool.

"The reason I give 4 stars is because my bad luck.

This stack is one of the cheapest BAMF stocks ever.
The material is a really good polymer.
The design is cool AF.
It feels amazing on the shoulder.
And in my case, it does not wabble at all! Firm as a queens guard! (Im not British but could not think on another thing)

I order this because how it looked and cuz it have QD sling points. My original stock did not have A SINGLE sling point on it, and I need them to place my sling.

Unfortunately, the sling points are not working, I got a defective stock. I live in costa rica so nothing to do. I will not return it to get it replaced, It will be better to re-order.

"Overall a good stock, allows for me to go from standby position on my shoulder to ready in a matter of seconds. rather than having to pull a normal stock away from my shoulder and then place it back again. Only two bad things that I encountered with the stock is that the rubber butt-pad was a little loose which I fixed with a little hot glue, there was also the retention pin for the stock. it was a little too tall to fit on but, was fixed by sanding it down and putting some lube on the buffer tube. Overall a very good build quality and I will be putting it on the next M4 buffer tube I get.

"Alot more comfortable than the original stock. But a pain to get on.

"The stock itself is great. Good battery capacity, comfortable, the rubber roll is amazing and I love it with a longer M4 platform.

Downside so far is that I'm having issues finding a QD sling mount to use with it. The UTG QD mounts are too large and don't fit in the QD hole, while the recommended Matrix QD I got was disfunctional and would stick in a depressed state if put into the stock, allowing it to pop out easily and then is stuck depressed. It does not stick when just depressing the button on it however, only when trying to insert it into the stock.

So 4/5, great stock, poor compatibility with QD mounts.

"This will fit a krytac stock but you will have to disassemble the stock spring to place it on the krytac buffer tube.

Pros: very comfortable, lightweight, color looks great

Cons: not a lot of space for 11.1v Lipo, rubber butt, difficult installation compared to other stocks

"This is the second time I get this stockgood stock, very big battery compartment (can hold the 2700mah nihm battery from matrix) , rubberized pad on the back and shade makes it very confortable to wield...

My only issue is that the QD sling moumt on the left side doesnt work on both stock I got...
I though I got a lemon on the 1st stock, but mount not working twice on the same side is not a coincidence.

"Cant put a qd on it. So sad I have to buy a new stock.

"I bought this for the G & G Firehawk to get more battery space. It fits the buffer tube going on, but the release on it does not allow the locking pin to drop down far enough to get it off. Which might be a big deal if you need to feed nun-chuck batteries from front of the stock. To get it off you have to use a screwdriver or something to force the pin about 3mm more than the release lever goes.

The other thing was the QD female built into the stock has the catch grooves a little deeper than most because I bough a Novritsch rifle sling and the QD swivel on that will not engage, the ball bearings simply can't go deep enough to catch. The Novritsch sling does clip into the original QD female part of the Firehawk stock. Anyways, good luck.

Aside from special case issues, it does look and feel like a decent stock for the price, the plastic feels solid and the steel parts do not look like cast pot metal but decently processed steel. And it does not wiggle on the buffer tube that much.

"Pin for the adjustment lever is snapped, put it back popped off again.
color and material is nice

"The quality of the stock and the buffer tube are fantastic and far surpassed my expectations. The stock is very comfortable with its sleek design and bent rubber style. It sits very nice against the shoulder. But this combo gets 3 stars for the following reasons, as it required several modifications to get to a decwnt position. First off, the stock fits on to the included buffer tube fine. But, the stock did not catch each of the notches to lock into each of the positions. It would click into each position, but you can easily push it from each position without forcing it too. You would be able to change the stock's positions just by shouldering it, which is a no no. I want a stock that will stay against my shoulder the way it should. My next issue was the screw and plate that was included to secure the buffer tube to the gun. This may vary from gun to gun. I converted my gun from a full stock to this adjustable stock. The screw included was too long. If you run into this issue, get a shorter screw or put several washers between the screw and plate included. To fix the wobbly stock and locking positions, stick 2 or 3 lengths of electrical tape along the top of the buffer tube. Place them over the numbers, from 1 to 6, running the length of the buffer tube. Place each length on the other, and then the stock should be pretty secured. Hope this reviews helps. If you follow this tips, then you should be fine, and the stock will fantastic for you. If you use it as it comes, then good luck to you, because it won't work well at all.

"The stock itself seems alright. The little twist tabs are crap and not secure at all. The buffer tube that comes with this is also crap. Just because it is metal doesn't mean it is worth getting. The stock fits snug on the plastic tube I currently have on while being extremely loose on the one it came with. It is also a pain to put on the tube. Aside from that, the plug in the butt is shaped in a manner you can't actually run cables off to the sides of the crane stock. Those QD points on it are nonsense and do not work. The pin that holds the stock in position is also loose and has at lot of give. In all, I'm pretty disappointed with this purchase. I guess going cheap just means I'll spend even more in the end.

"Stock does not properly fit on the recommended bundled buffer tube. It does not lock in to the notches and can easily be pushed in with a little effort with your hand. Plus, there is no guarentee that it will fit your current buffer tube.

The stock is cool and all, but this is a major flaw that I can't overlook. It simply doesn't work as it is supposed to.

To make matters worse, I origionally bought just the stock. When I found that it didn't work properly, I bought the stock and buffer tube bundle, thinking they should work together since they are sold together. I was wrong, and now have spent money on basically worthless items.
