CYMA / Matrix Hi-Cap Magazine for AK Series Airsoft AEG Rifle (Color: Black / 600rd / AK47-Style)

48 Customer Reviews

"Bought this for my CYMA AIMS.

Pros:
Feeds fine
Long mag looks pretty cool
Holds a lot of ammo

Cons:
Winding is annoying, feeds only about 20 BBs each time
Scratched on mag and on plastic lip
Hard to prone with this

So, its fine, but the design simply doesn't allow some things.

"Bought these for my CYMA-48U, they seem like study mags, they all fit really well. One mag did come with the bottom disassembled, ten minutes in the garage fixed that, the bottom end seemed to not want to fit correctly and modification was required. Other than that ordeal these mags seem great for the money.

"This is a great mag. it really holds 600 rounds and I do not have to wind up this mag very often. now for the pros and cons.

Pros:
600 rounds
metal outside
fits in most ak-47's
not to much winding
Cons:
plastic inside
outside gets scratched easily

"I own 6 of these magazines and I can say that these perform greatly and never misfeed into my gun.

Pros:

Metal

They have weight to them (If you rapid reload like I do by hitting the mag release lever with another mag and insert that mag it's easier with a heavier magazine.)

No misfeeding into gun

Cons:

2 out of my 6 have weak covers where you pour your bb's into the magazine which can be annoying if they open if you set them down somewhere.

"Just a Couple quick notes on this Magazine.

The Magazine is the one pictured IN THE FIRST PICTURE, not the other two(please fix this evike). It is a curved ak47 style in the bakelite color.... NOT an ak74 style.

If you can get past that, for what you pay the magazine is relatively nice. I run a JG AKS74U EBB and the fit is nice and solid without any modification. Good finish, similar color to actual bakelite, feeds well, solid construction, and includes a butterfly to speed wind the mag. Off a full windup from the butterfly(until it starts making strange noises) you can probably get about 300 rounds out of it. Not bad at all.

I've given it 4 stars based on the fact that I had assumed it was a 74 style magazine and not a 47 from the majority of the pictures. Otherwise, it might be looking at a 5 for overall value of performance and appearance.

"Bought to use in an ICS IC-32 AK. Rear tab would not hold when 1st inserted. Took a medium/fine file to it and after thinning down the tab and backplate they fit fine. Have only used 6-7 times but have not had any feeding problems yet.

"This mag is awesome, and yes, it is compatible with Cyma AK47s, such as CM028 and CM042. It's plastic internally, but has a zinc alloy shell. Holds 600 rounds just as it says, and it's a pretty tough mag. Overall, if you have a gun, a spare mag is pretty necessary, as well as a great add on to your airsoft armory. It winds like any other standard high capacity magazine.

"Theesework great for a standard ak47. This is one of the most common magazines ive been seeing and the bb capacity is epic. all and all it worth every penny.

"I got this mag yesterday and right out of the box I saw how cool it looked. It came in a little sealed plastic bag. The mag itself was very shiny and smooth. Enough with the looks though. I have a jg aks74u and I bought this mag because the one it came with broke in one game. I was hoping to get something a little better quality. When I put in the mag it was very wobbly (nothing electrical tape can't fix). That wasn't the onely problem though. For some reason unknown it wasn't feeding properly and was messing up my gun. I fiddled around a bit and saw that it was pushing hard against a wire and screwing with the electricity. I played with the wire a bit and tried to jam it down. The next time I put the Mag in I didn't jam it down as hard and it fed nearly flawlessly. It took a little trial and error but overall it's a good mag and looks great.

Pros:
Looks great
Good quality
Feeds well
Tons of ammo

Cons:
Took a little fiddling around
Too shiny
Screws with my wires

"I just got this mag in yesterday. I have to say, they feeding is great, the material quality is AWESOME, the winding gear is fast and winds smooth, and you have the option of using a winding key. Not to mention the 600 round capacity! For $15, this mag is a steal! I bought this mag for my CYMA CM.028. The only problem is that this mag wobbles.... A LOT. I don't know if other CYMA owners have this problem or if it's just my gun. It would have been 5 stars if the mag hadn't wobbled so much. It's not that big of a deal, it just bothered me a little.

Pros:
Very nice metal design
Very high capacity (600 rounds!)
Nice weight (Its a plus for me, I like realism)
Great price

Cons:
Wobbled in the magwell (this hasn't been a problem for a lot of posters here, but it was for me)

Over all, I'd recommend this to a friend any day!

"There are reasons that this is priced lower than the 45 dollar marui mag, but for the price its pretty good.
The Good:
Its metal. The outer metal shell is solid and I doubt its going to be breaking anytime soon. The mag feeds GREAT. My gun is shooting a very high ROF and the mag keeps up no problem. You dont have to wind it for ages. Its not like two winds and you are done, you still have to do it a bit, but its not as much winding required as some mags out there.
The Bad:
Mine didnt come with a winding key. Im guessing it was a mistake, Im going to call them about it. The mag is not FULL metal, as advertized. Its pretty much a metal shell that slides over a plastic frame with metal caps for the top and bottom. But it is encased in metal, so its sturdy enough. The mag is near impossible to take apart. No visible screws, things to slide off, or anything like that. The bottom plate on mine slides back and forth (and off once, its hard to get back on) when I wind. Im guessing if I tighten the connecting pieces with pliers it should stay. Not sure about this, but examining the paint job looks like it will scratch easily.

"WOW! A full metal 600 rd hi-cap for only $15! That sounds too good to be true, and it is because it isnt "Full" metal or hold 600 rds. It is still a GREAT deal since you cant find hicaps for less than $15, but I was a little dissapointed when the advertising setmy hopes so high. First off, the very top and middle of it is plastic and the outside is a metal shell. And no, I didnt count each bb, but I filled it all the way, packed it down, wound it, packed in some more and packed those down... filled it till it held no more. And then spilled those out into a pile and tried to fill those bb's into a 375 hi-cap. There was about fifty left over (did count those) so 50 + 375 = ~425. Still A TON of ammo, just less than I expected. I test fired it and it fed beautifully, no problems there.

I highly recommmend this magazine for the price and quality, my only problem is the advertising.

evike, please change

"Answering a question...yes this would fit your TM AK-47 Spetsnaz... I bought 2 of these magazines for my AK-47 and they work great...feed flawlessly when you wind the magazine up all the way it will cycle through about 250 rounds before needing to be rewinded. butt giving it 4 because the bottom wind wheel doesnt work the best...takes a bit of winding to get it up to feeding good for full auto...I carry around the little included winder with me makes it alottttt quicker and you can wind the mag all the way up and forget it for 250 rounds...the quick winder is actually a bonus...save your fingers...Loads easily to. Great product overall nice paint metal construction except for the internals im sure and the top part and bb load door.

"This is an excellent magazine in my opinion. On recieving mine I took it out of the package, put a little silicon oil in it, and loaded it up. The magazine wound flawlessly and fed continuously. The metal construction is nice and despite numerous drops on the field, it has yet to suffer any permanent damage. All in all, this is an excellent magazine for the cost. My only complaint is that the paint scratches fairly easily. This can be easily remedied with a new coat of paint though. A great investment.

"I’ve yet to run them through their paces and I’ve already got a tab break. While checking for fit and practicing mag changes the rear locking tab broke off. Making the magazine useless. It’s one out of 4 so maybe a bad lemon don’t know yet.
