"Helmet was quite decent, and You get what you see.

Pros:
Lightweight
Okay Fit

Cons:
Straps were a bit loose, but easily fixable
Leans to one side if tightened too much.

I give this product 4 out of 5 stars.

A Semi-nice Helmet for very cheap, would be recommend to friends.

"I got my helmet for my Persian Gulf War impressionist kit. I am alright with it.

When I received my helmet, the bottom trip wasn't applied the best, to where there were some spots where the glue had oozed out and dried. The trim was in some places where it was a little wavy. And the straps for the chin guard are of the cheap fabric.

When I bought some PASGT 6-color helmet covers, they fit alright. The first one I got was a thrashed cover with slits for additions to the cover. I was a little ripped on the front, so I did have some trouble seating it right. After I got it seated, the 6 hook and loop straps that secure the cover to the helmet its self had some troubles too. The helmet's strap are set kind of high in the inside, so it is a little bit of a stretch to secure the straps to the inside of the helmet. When I ordered my second cover, a parachutists cover without the slits, and because this one was NOS, if fit well on the helmet. As for the securing strap, still the same deal. It is still a little bit of a stretch to secure it.

All in all, this helmet works for my Gulf War kit.

"I bought this for a kit and when I first got this I thought well this won't last long it looked very cheap and felt like it too. but to my amazement it lasted a while, I stopped using it when the buckle for the strap broke but I did enjoy how light the helmet was and offered good protection.

"One thing I like about this helmet is the light weight. I bought several helmets together and added USMC lightweight helmet chin straps to two of them. The fact that the screws are removable is nice. I also added NGV mounts to the helmets. Had to switch out screws but having a nice, light helmet isnl great.

"Not good for people with longer heads (vertically)
I had this for about two day trying to figure out how to get it to work with my kit, the chin straps weren't long enough to adjust it right on my head, and there wasn't a perfect medium for the stars inside the head and the string inside there was super long and hard to adjust. ( maybe all of above was user error idk. )
On day two of using it, half of the right side of chinstrap burst into string. (Right according to the wearer)
That being said, it will work ass a bump helmet and is entirely bb-proof (I put like 500 rounds into it point blank)
So I'm probably gonna prop it up as a target for now until I figure out a fix but okay product.

"The helmet is light and shiny. id recommend buying a helmet cover if you run one. id recommend this helmet to snipers who want one but i advise you to buy a cover and take good care of it because the material is rather cheap

"I'll give it a not terrible. It is very cheap quality and light, but it works if you're going with a certain look. I'd like to point out the chin strap is actually black. The helmet is somewhat adjustable, there is a series of straps and strings in the helmet you can play with to make it sort of fit. If you have long hair, it will not grip your head well. But to be fair it was designed for people with GI haircuts. Real surplus PASGT helmet covers will fit this helmet just fine. I have yet to operate with it but as long as you take care of your gear, it should last. So be gentle when making adjustments. In conclusion, it works if your going with a certain look, plus its really cheap, but that's about it. Poor quality materials and construction.

"Pros:
Actual shell is of sufficent quality for protection
Looks fantastic with a Digital Woodland cover
Fits overtop of many masks and can be worn over hats
Very lightweight
Good protection coverage

Cons:
Looks way nicer in the pictures
Straps are made of kmart fanny pack quality materials
Most of the hardware is pretty cheap stuff

OVERALL: Gets the job done with style if you get it mounted to your head and is light and very easy on the neck. I would recommend wearing a hat under it just because all the adjustment straps are cheap and there isn't much for padding but at least it is LIGHT. I expected more in the way of decent straps for 20 bucks, but you get what you pay for. If you can afford 40 bucks you'd get a far superior helmet. It is a pretty good buy for $20 and if you can get by those Kmart straps it'll be the only helmet you'll ever need for airsoft. However if you don't get a cover for it you might as well just scream out "I'M A HOMELESS SKITSOPHRENIC!" and put a big target on the front.

"So, I wanted a nice, rather cheap helmet to top out my airsoft loadout. And for that, this is a great helmet. It's fits snugly on my head, although it does feel a little flimsy and and the screws keeping the head webbing in place seem very loose (can be tightened).

Pros
-Cool-looking headgear
-Not super expensive
-Fits comfortably

Cons
-Chinstrap broke on me almost right away (I was able to patch it up with a crude sewing-job
-Feels a little flimsy
-Screws keeping head-webbing in place seem to be of low-quality and loose

Overall: I suggest you buy this if you want a rather cheap helmet, just be prepared for the possibility that you might have to make a few quick repairs to it.

"Please refer to my comment on the page for the black version of this helmet.

"I'm sure that this is a good helmet, but you can get a PASGT helmet made of high-quality ABS plastic with really nice padding inside and a different chin-strap at brigade quartermasters.com for the the same price. Sorry Evike.

"I had the helmet and it fell apart in two weeks

"This is a horrible helmet, and I regret ever purchasing it. The chin strap is made of very cheap and unreliable cloth, the buckle is made of the weakest plastic I've ever seen, and broke within my second or third use of it. The helmet itself is very cheap plastic and looks and feels very poor.

I guess this doesn't come to a surprise considering its only $18, but just keep it in mind.

"This is the worst helmet... I have ever used.

Pros:
Lightweight
Affordable
Come in black and OD
Can buy separate helmet covers and NVG mounts

Cons:
Plastic it's made of is super cheap and "tacky"
The retention system has failed to keep it from wobbling on my head, no matter how I adjust it (but that may just be me)
The strap is one point, meaning less security on your head
Bulky as HECK
The way you adjust the retention system is held by tying a string... Really?
PASGT's do not have many customization in the airsoft world

I ended up just buying a Lancer Tactical Air Recon helmet, which is several step above this. Just save up to buy different head gear. But I will say, it has protected my head VERY well, considering it has a big profile.
