"His wear problem was most likely a slightly incorrect angle of engagement, or the proper contact on the first sector gear tooth and the pickup tooth on the piston.

"Do not use this if you have a full 16 tooth sector gear and a spring guide with a bearing. I thought it looked a bit sketchy how ridiculously close the piston was to the bearing but went with it anyway. My piston eventually got stuck on the bearing. I have a set of 13:1 short stroked gears coming and should solve that issue because it should never get close to the bearing again. Awesome quality piston just be aware it might be a bad idea to put into a gearbox you plan to run full stroke.

"Great piston so far. Lots of other pistons I have had do not last me at all but this has been great so far. Its very light and great design only thing is that i've gone through about 3000 rounds and i can see wear on the last 2 teeth already. I'm using a systema m160 and 11.1v LiPo. I was using my 14.8v LiPo for about 3 games so that could be the reason for the wear so far. Other than that its great I would defiantly recommended this piston to anyone

"mine was blue.
this piston is very light, actually about the same weight as a poly piston if not a little lighter
however i did encounter a small problem when installing the piston head to it, inside the piston there was a small lip where it hadn't been fully machined and this was preventing me from getting the bearing for the piston head in all the way.
to recap: incredibly light weight
great exterior
inexpensive

poorly machined, i think i just got a lemon though

"I ordered three of these pistons, and although they seemed to be well made and light, I encountered a similar problem another review mentioned. And that is, when putting on the piston head there's a lip inside that prevents the bearings from going all the way down to the bottom. I can see one being justifiable but having 3 of mine plus at least one other review saying theirs was a potato is poor quality control.
