"Fantastic gun the rate of fire is like nothing i have seen before it definitely needs .25g bbs to shoot its best and i enjoy it just i am always paranoid when i buy a new gun so i notice every little thing "wrong" The first thing i didn't enjoy was the unbalance of the gun it is very front heavy since all the space in the back if for the tiny battery that you need to buy. I also didn't like the curve of the bb's about 50-75 feet after the bb left the barrel but who knows this could just be a problem with my gun i am 45% sure i have a hop up problem because i needed to turn the hop up all the way up to make it shoot straight. If this is a problem i would really like to know. Anyway this gun never curves up or down it shoots perfect in distance and height just a little curve that can be very very tedious to work with. "I've had this gun for about two months now and I LOVE it. It has got to be the best AEG I have bought yet, and I've been airsofting for 7 years now. It has a great feel to it, and the internals are top notch. It is easier to take apart than most M14s because G&P has reduced the amount of pieces that are necessary. It looks BA and is very intimidating, The range is phenomenal and beats almost everything. The fps is good too, you could put a M130 in it and be fine.
-accurate with 6.03
-great sound when racking the bolt
-no mag wobble
-the bolt gets stuck sometimes, but lube will fix that
-the internals of the selector switch are plastic, so don't be too rough with it
-mid-battle battery switches are a pain
-requires serious dis-assembly to get to the barrel, not a problem though. It is the same dis-assembly as the CYMA M14, look it up on YouTube. "I got this off Evike for 210 USD during the Cyber-Monday sale. This gun has to be one of the nicest I have ever felt. The polymer is sturdy and is textured and it will not break anytime soon unless you are planning to use it as a baseball bat. The metal is by no means low quality, it feels metallic and has a nice and meaty 'clank' when you release the charging handle.
The pistol grip is textured nicely and grips your hands well, making it a plus if you have sweaty hands. It came with a standard 160 round metal mid capacity mag and when placed in the mag well it has no wobble, and I mean zero wobble nothing at all. The stock features a cheek riser so you can mount a scope on it and go long range reconnaissance if needed. it is fully adjustable to your preferences. Trigger and trigger guard is metal and the safety towards the front of the guard clicks into place rather nicely.
The battery space is down right amazing, I can fit quite a big battery in there and you will be able to practically fit any battery inside of it, best thing is that G&P already wired it to deans. Sling mounts are sturdy and the back one is fixed, the front one is a little sketchy but it probably won't break on you. The stock has a rubberized butt plate with adjustable lengths and to access your battery compartment you will need to unscrew two screws and take it off.
The flash hider is a plastic, orange M4 flash hider, but G&P included a full metal M14 flash hider in addition. The fire select switch is awesome, it's smooth and clicks into place for each turn. Iron sights are standard and adjustable, you will need to attach the M14 flash hider to use them correctly though.
The ROF is insane on this thing, on a 7.4 lipo I was getting 1150 rounds per minute and around 360-370 fps with .2 gram BBs, I was able to run a mag dry in seconds on full auto, in addition to its awesome ROF, it's range is superb at 150-200 feet I was able to hit a man sized target 9/10 times using .28 gram BBs. For it's max range? I would say around 230-245 feet with a slight angle.
Cons are little to none on this gun. Maybe the length? I'm pretty sure it's around three and a half to four feet long. The only problem I have a encountered so far is the charging handle will get stuck sometimes, but a little bit of lubricant will fix that, also the M4 flash hider is glued to hell and back, so if you want to remove I suggest dipping it in boiling water for a little bit, I think the threads are CCW but I'm not sure. Overall 9.5/10. Oh, and it's like 7 pounds. Read More Reviews Write a Review
