The 85, 100, 120 & 140 floating DTX models feature a different bib shape and wider body to sinking DTX models. These sizes are designed for more action at slower speeds, while still being able to handle high speeds. The Autotune system also imparts more action and wiggle on the lure body. Floating DTX minnows are amazing casting lures, crash dive very deep and are easy to work over structure.

Great swimming action and diving depth at slow speeds make DTX85-120 floating models perfect for casting and trolling applications where depth and slow speeds are key to getting strikes. The DTX140 is extremely versatile with a working trolling speed from 2 to 10 knots and can be trolled from kayaks right through to offshore boats targeting species like Wahoo.

The DTX Minnow has raised the bar in trolling minnow performance and features the pat. pending Autotune system. Developed over years of R&D the Autotune system gives the lure the ability to perfectly center itself at the tow point delivering 3 key benefits, the ability to ensure the lure always swims straight, increasing diving depth and increased swim speed. This combination makes it unique in the world of offshore trolling minnows.

A self centering tow point ensures that no matter how many fish you catch, the lure will keep swimming straight. Conventional lures with a fixed tow point cannot all be made perfectly centered to swim straight. The ability of the Autotune system to perfectly center itself every time on the bib means that the tow point can be pushed as far back on the bib as possible, meaning maximum diving depth and better action combined with higher troll speeds.

AUTOTUNE SYSTEM
The Autotune Bib system allows the lure to self tune, and adjust to changes in the lure shape from fish hitting it, or other problems that often cause lures to need tuning in order to swim straight. The flexible and moveable towpoint means that the lure is always trolled from the perfect centre line of the lure, meaning perfect balance and straight swimming always. There is no longer a need to be tweaking the tow point and bending eyelets sideways and testing the lure to make it swim, just deploy and start catching fish!

HYDROSPEED BELLY EYELET
The unique Hydropseed belly eyelet has been hydrodynamically tested and designed designed to allow maximum trolling speed, and also provide the optimum hookup ratio when using single hooks in large trolling lures. The concealed towpoint allows the lure to be trolled much faster than a conventional lure with an exposed belly eyelet. The additional trolling speed and increased hookup rate make the DTX minnow with Hydrospeed technology a must have trolling lure for any bluewater application.

HD ABS SYSTEM
Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than any other plastic used for lure production. These lures feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.

GORILLA
This through wire system has the wire bend around a set of extra plastic supports internally, making the wire less likely to separate from the lure body, and ensuring ultimate strength. The Through wire is also welded at both ends to ensure you never lose that big fish.

TRIPLE SHIELD PROTECTION
We ensure that the painting process and the quality of the finish on all lures is protected and likely to last longer by applying 3 final coats of a super tough clear resin to the outside of all lures. It provides additional colour depth and ensure that the finish on your lure will last longer.

DIAMOND ARMOUR
This is a special internal design process we have implemented for use with clear ABS plastic bodies, where we want colours that are see through, or where using the HD ABS plastic is not required. The internal diamond mesh grid pattern creates an internal framework to strengthen the body of the lure, making it far less likely to be crushed or cracked by large predators. The internal Diamond grid pattern ensure ultimate strength in all applications.

METAL MATRIX PLATE SYSTEM - DTX220LRS
The ultimate in strength designed for big fish. The Matrix Metal Plate system features a unique design incorporating a stainless steel plate into the body mold of the lure. The plate is incorporated into the lure with a series of small holes at critical locations in the plate, allowing the molded plastic to weave through the metal plate and create the ultimate in strength. The metal plate means you will never lose a massive fish through lure failure, but the matrix system also means ultimate strength between the metal plate and molded body. AVAILABLE IN DTX220LRS
