Tokyo Marui Limited Edition Biohazard "Lightning Hawk" Airsoft Gas Pistol

"Bought this gun at the day of the release and got it shipped from Japan to the US. Costed me 630$ to get it sooner than later. I wanted to be one of the cool kids to review it first on youtube but alas, I was too slow.

You can still check out the unboxing video of it at my channel Aldred Yap! I wish I bought the gun from evike instead for $200 cheaper. I did not buy the gun from Evike, but this has been my experience on having the gun since July 2019 to present.

Now on to the gun itself and less on my story.

This TM piece is an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS GUN. This gun does not feel like a low quality plastic gun on the hands at all. I know there are a lot of TM fan boys out there that loves their Japanese plastic, but I am NOT one at all. This was my first TM airsoft gun. Never bought a TM gun before due to the cost of it. ALL THE SILVER PARTS YOU SEE ON THE GUN IS METAL. THAT'S RIGHT. YOU READ IT CORRECTLY. A TM THAT IS METAL AND CHROME. Other than the custom long barrel, and the the faux wood grips, everything is metal and a mixture of metal.

If you are a big fan of the resident evil franchise, like myself, this deal is a no brainer MUST HAVE. It comes with a collector's edition in game Wooden case, regulus ammo box, the custom ported slide, high quality silver metal gas magazine and the regular slide.

Expect the good ole low fps but insane magical rainbowed quality hop up on this gun. I have a Matrix Custom VSR10 MB12 with a maple leaf bucking that shoots far and accurate with .40g bbs. Guess what...THE D.EAGLE 'S RANGE AND ACCURACY IS THE SAME WITH .20g bbs. I don;t know what TM does to their hop up units, but airsoft companies should take notes.

I have been airsofting for over 7 years now. I have shot a lot of airsoft guns from excellently high end ones like the SAI GRY GATE ASTER and the KRYTAC KRISS, to the walmart crossman stinger. (My first airsoft pistol LOL) This pistol by far is the best airsoft pistol that I own, but unable to field it because of it's value. A sad dilemma indeed.

Now here are the pros and cons

PROS:
Shoots far and accurately up to 150-200 feet with .20s
RE 2 REMAKE Collector's item that comes with 2 slides, wooden box, ammo box.
Silver pieces are MADE OF METAL (aside from other parts and the black ported slide.

Kicks like a .22lr handgun, recoil is nice and crispy.

Cons:
Expensive collector's item
Too valuable for me to throw mud at.
You don't have it.

TL DR:
This is a gun meant to be inside a show case, not fielded. This piece (imo) is far too valuable to be abused in the field, but if you are rich, you can kick ass with this beast on the field no sweat. Performs like a TM should, and silver parts are made of metal.

A year later I still love looking at the gun in my display showcase, along with some real .50AE bullets on the ammo box. I love shooting it occasionally. No regrets at all.
