"I love the blitz. I've owned it since 2018 and it became my main. the only issue I had when I got it is when the blast cap didn't fit on the blitz but besides that it's a great airsoft gun.

"This is a great gun!!! Just make sure you get the 2.0 gearbox & chipset!

After having it for 8 months and pulling it apart a few times for fun, this definitely deserves a higher rating than the 2 stars it has now...

After MUCH research and stress over what to buy for my first legit Airsoft AEG, I picked this and couldn’t be happier. The stock, receiver, barrel, gearbox, trigger, and spring assembly all feel well built and sturdy when firing (although I haven’t opened the gearbox), and the flat trigger has a nice sharp response with little travel when an 11.1 LiPO is used. SDU 2.0 chipset is great and likely helps give that tight snap in semi-auto with an 11.1 battery.

Pulling the charging lever doesn’t automatically lock the bolt back like a Krytac, but there are bolt-lock and bolt-release tabs on both right and left side making this easy to operate (same with mag release buttons). Hop-up is adjusted with the traditional wheel-style unit, not rotary, BUT the hop-up chamber itself is all metal and looks solid enough that you probably won’t upgrade the box itself (unless you want those fancy hop-up chambers that hold onto your extra BBs when switching mags).

The slim RS2 stock is supremely comfortable on the shoulder, and through there isn’t space in the stock itself for a battery, a small stick-type (2-cell) battery will easily fit inside the buffer tube if it’s pulled more than 1-click longer from fully collapsed.

The Fatty / Fat Boy m-lok hand guard is one of my favorite things about this gun. The extra wide grip is suuuuuuper comfortable with bare hands or gloves and there are plenty of m-lok grooves for a ton of configuration options.

My research of the EMG Falkor Blitz was FULL of people complaining about problems with the version 1.0 gearbox. Cracking from stress, difficulty changing springs, and chipped gears were all the rage in the old version, and apparently a lot of work has gone into addressing these for the new eSilverEdge 2.0 gearbox. Again, I have not opened the gearbox itself yet, but from the outside everything looks and feels nice and tight. Just from firing this I can tell it is quality (not the same sound as my Krytac, but just as snappy). I run an 11.1v 2-cell LiPo in the buffer tube and it shoots laser straight with 0.28s and almost no hop.

Literally my ONLY PROBLEM with this gun is that I bought the oh-so-beautiful gold version and now I’m so in love that I don’t want to field it anymore and risk scratching the paint. Oh well, I guess that means I’m eventually going to buy the killer combat grey version and try to chill out as it slowly becomes battle worn.

If you’re thinking about this gun and made it to the end of my review, scroll back up and buy it. You will NOT be disappointed ^_^

"Beautiful gun. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to stand out from the crowd. Great gun to upgrade and has amazing specs. Only down side is if you play outdoors the paint will scratch easily.

"i purchased this gun about 3 years ago and hadn't had much of a chance to really use it until last year to now. have about 5,000 rounds through it and this is what i have to say. P.S I've only done the following to this rifle.... angel customs 6.01 tight bore barrel 150mm, maple leaf hop up bucking 75 degree.

pros

lock back bolt is awesome for hopup adjustment
great sturdy build
great trigger response for no mosfet (have ran 7.4 titan batteries and cant get it to jam with fast trigger pull) (just recently switched to a 11.1)

cons

butt stock and buffer tube assembly comes loose with not much play time. Locktite should do the trick.
can get heavy while playing so if you plan on fully decking this is out then i suggest to go with a lighter platform or like your grand dad said it, be a man. (i run a foregrip and vortex spitefire II RED DOT and after a day of playing it weighs a bit)
stock barrel is not great.. maybe shoots 125-150ft. (get a angel customs tight bore, just do it and don't ask questions. im shooting 365-370fps and reaching 225-250 ft all day)
a bit to easy to knock your fire switch while playing so your shooting either full or nothing. just be mindful for that while playing.

otherwise an amazing gun and extremely pleased!!

"The gun was delivered and right out of the box I noticed a lot of things I really hate.

Cons:
-Buffer tube was loose and the whole tube and stock fell off directly out of the box, poorly designed and when I tried to get it back in it ground into the battery wire and destroyed it, partially my fault but for how poorly it was designed I won't take full responsibility for it.
-mag release on the right-hand sight was sticky and required the force of my thumb to eject the mag, it loosened up after a bit but it was still uncomfortable and sticky.
-trigger looks nice but somehow manages to feel disgusting when you pull it, with a cheap-feeling click where the gun fires.
-Rail looks really cool, but feels disgusting in hand, buy a grip if for some reason you choose this gun
-Fake bolt never locks back as it is supposed to, directly out of the box
-Charging handle feels like it could fall out when pulled and came slathered in cheap lube, like SOAKED in cheap, thick lube.
-If you buy this gun, plan on buying an aftermarket motor with it as well, because the stock motor makes the gun sound like it's on a 1 volt battery

Pros:
-Falkor grey looks nice

For the same price as many other better guns, it's fair to expect a lot higher quality. Save your money.

Pros:
-Falkor grey looks nice
-I'm a sucker for a flared magwell
