SRU Bullpup Kit for M11 Gas Blowback Machine Pistols (Color: Black / KWA M11A1 Pre-Installed)

"What a fun little kit. It turns the M11 into something it ordinarily isn't in more ways than one. The M11 by itself isn't what I would consider ergonomic. The retracting stock is a joke, the sights are impossible to use without scruching your face down, and I've always found the grip section on the back of the mag well to be oddly shaped for my taste. What the m11 IS, is fun. A balls to the wall spray and pray little monster that makes you feel like some 80s action movie hero. This SRU kit makes it much more usable as an actual cqb primary in my opinion. The weight is heavily biased towards the rear, which is to be expected, and the trigger is a little spongy, but it never had a good trigger to begin with. I've owned several SRU products, and as long as you're not storing them in hot places, and not throwing them around, the 3d printed plastics seem to hold up remarkably well.

Pros:
+much more ergonomic design compared to basic m11. I don't need the stock spacer, but nice that it's included for normal sized adults.

+ability to add optics and other accessories to an otherwise sparse platform. I wish there were some side rails, but there's only so much space.

+high quality 3d printed plastic. Only ever broken one SRU product at a hinge, which was to be expected.

+easy install. Five screws if I recall correctly. The hardest part is taking apart the m11 for preparation, which you should already know how to do.

Cons:
-loud for the user. The ejection port feels like it's an inch away from your ear, and boy do you hear it. I would be hesitant to shoot it left handed.

-the included suppressor is solid internally. Great for durability, but no way to fit a tracer unit. Need to see about other options that might fit into the stock

-no good place for off hand without adding a grip. I can never quite figure out what to do with my hand, and one or two fingers usually ends up forward of the included stop. Not fond of having fingers that close to the muzzle.

All in all, if you're looking at this, you're probably thinking two things. 1. That looks awesome and I want it, but is it worth it or 2. That looks stupid, why would you do that to a perfectly usable gun?

To the people with the first thought, it is awesome, and if you like the looks of it but just want an opinion from someone who has one, you'll love it. It's a silly little kit that takes it from a little angry box with a stick coming out of it, into a neat looking space gat with decent ergonomics.

To the people with the second though, you're not wrong, but it's not for purists. If it's not your style, it's not your style. That said, every single friend that I've handed it to has been surprised at how good it feels and handles. It's not bad just because you don't like it.
