Matrix Hi-Capa Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistols (Type: 4.3 / Tan)

"This is a really good pistol. It’s my first airsoft gun, and I have plenty of my own real steels to compare to. While the slide rattles slightly, it’s overall construction is very solid and it feels good in the hands. Right out of the box it shoots straight. I’m using .23’s and they starting flying upwards or downwards rapidly at about 20 meters. That’s with no adjustment to the hopup. The outer barrel is threaded, but be warned that glue is tight. Removing the orange tip and not screwing up the outer barrel is gonna take some heat. The mag that comes with it drops free fine, locks to the rear on last shot fired, everything you’d want it to do. But I got a We-tech mag cuz it said it was compatible with We and Tokyo Marui mags, but the We mag sticks slightly, and doesn’t lock to the rear. Otherwise fits and functions fine too. I hear jag or whatever mags work best. Anyways great pistol overall for the price. It’s a hi-capa, that’s regularly 90-100 dollars. What more could you ask for?

"This is an AMAZING pistol. I got this for only 95USD (not including the 15% off summer sale) and I can safely say it was well worth every penny! Contrary to what some on the internet speculated it to be, the metal is sturdy and heavy. It has a metal slide and mid-frame and a surprisingly excellent polymer lower. I put a little silicone grease in it and now it runs pretty smooth. And I've had a blast shooting it a little. I haven't played at all with it yet so I might change this review later. Something to note is the grip is a little too large for me to engage the slide release without changing my grip.

Cons:

WE mags *are* compatible but don't release as quickly as their included mags. (the weight of the mag still easily drops out the mag, just not as elegantly)
The paint can be scratched in metal on metal areas, so it's important to keep it well greased.
The included mag sprays gas everywhere when loading (i might just be doing it wrong but the WE mags don't do that so idk)

"I got this a my very first airsoft gun, and I have to say I fell in love with this thing. It is a solid, reliable, and very customizable piece, just like Tokyo Marui's hi capas. The main reason I favored this over the Maruis is because this uses a metal slide and frame compared to Tokyo Marui. This takes pretty much all the after market stuff and overall feels good to hold, shoot, and reload. And speaking of reloading, the only problem with the gun for me is the flimsy mag it comes with, but that not what I'm gonna complain about. The problem is if you use different hi capa mags (ex Marui Magazines), the gun will run fine. but when you eject the mag, the slide catch releases, sending the slide forward. It doesn't do anything bad to the gun or mag and can be fixed with a little tinkering, but its more of an annoyance than an actual problem. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this as a solid choice for a hi capa.

"Won mine from a BoA. Its solid and fires as fast as you pull the trigger, it's a pistol, so range is eh, but an excellent room clearer. Loaned it to a friend, it was dropped aot on various floors and still works fine. This thing does have a threaded inner barrel, but the kind that needs an adapter for suppressors. All in all a solid starter pistol. If aimed down, like shooting nearly straight down, it will occasionally jam, but pulling the slide normally fixes it quite satisfied with it.

"just got this in two days ago after some lost postal issues ( btw evike sent me another ASAP without question. and the original ended up showing up later so I sent it back to them). I just used it for the 1st time at my indoor field on 4/11 and THIS THING ROCKS!!! soon as I got it dialed in it shot like a laser. super impressed by the functionality of this hi-capa...we'll see how it holds up after some outdoor play but i'd recommend this pistol for sure. only small drawback was the WE mags tend to stick a little. but buy the JAG arms mag that it recommends and you'll have no issues at all....great gun!!

Fired 6 shots and it would no longer load bbs. (far as i can tell part of the nozzle snapped off causing the barrel to be sealed before the bb could be pushed into the hop-up. Its a 1911 (hate me all you want fan girls)

Good
After a RMA and about 2 weeks later (lovely postal shipping times around a holiday) i received a new replacement (good Evike). After about 60 rounds or so its still shooting. Just taking potshots at a rock about 50m away the pistol did seem to hold relatively true to where my .25s where going, without adjusting the hop-up.

Now i just need some field time to put it to a real test.

"I got this gun in a box of awesomeness, fathers day edition. I got the tan 5.1 version. I recommend the 4.1 version, because it has a tactical rail. The pistol itself is very nice, shoots much more accurate, farther, and faster, and overall better than my elite force 1911. It also works with propane, which will give you about 2500 shots per propane tank. (costs about $3 for a propane tank.). When i got this gun, it was shooting great, enough blowback to make it fun, but still have a laser tight grouping. The sights are easily adjustable, and very nice to use. It also easily overhops .25 bbs. It is also full metal, even though it has a very plasticy feel. The reason it has four stars, is because when I first got it, after about 40 shots, the mag was leaking. I contacted evike and hopefully they will send me a new mag. I have no doubt they will, because they have some of the best customer service.
