Gate TITAN V2 Airsoft Drop-In Programmable MOSFET Module w/ USB-Link (Model: Rear Wired / Without Programming Card)

"Have one of these in each of my guns (VFC HK 416 Gen1 and a G&G GR 300). It's an amazing piece of tech, allowing me to change what I need when I need.

My favorite feature is the alerts. Low battery warning will save batteries.

I have both my guns set for semi and 3 round burst.

Pros:
Full control over how the gun fires and feels.

Cons:
As Matthew S. stated in his review, the wires are the weakest point, I would have liked to see much better.

"This thing was a super easy install into my TK45c, which is might be harder for other guns as the tk was made for it, but even without tuning with the Gate Control Station is made a night and day difference in the performance of my gun and I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their AEG in any way

"This thing as absolutely ridiculous. Thanks Evike!

"First of all, this thing is amazing and is worth the money IF you are serious about performance AND you are knowledgeable enough to install or at least maintain it (don't get this if you can't open your gearbox to clean to the sensors because having to pay a tech to do that is just silly). I had almost no trouble installing it in my Lancer Tactical Battlehawk carbine (their stock ETU kicked the bucket so I was left with the choice of buying standard trigger components and rewiring the whole gun or just upgrading to the Titan... totally worth it even if the Titan costs almost as much as the gun), the only issue was a few bits on the gearbox shell that had to be removed with a Dremel. (Protip, put masking tape over your bearings to stop metal shavings from getting in them, I had to blow them out with air and oil to be sure my shortsightedness wouldn't cause them to jam).

Some pros about the Titan itself:
The firmware is always being updated adding new features (but they could also introduce bugs so I like to wait a bit to update)
The pre-cock is hands down the most meaningful upgrade you can get on an AEG, the ability to get instant trigger response will allow you to win peaking battles consistently. It's practically pay to win.
The programable selector and trigger sensitivity is awesome, especially the burst/auto function. Being able to send 3rd bursts with just the tap of the trigger on auto is great for ensuring hits while conserving ammo.
The battery protection features and active break are great if you run lipos, but of course you can get those in much cheaper Gate MOSFETs if that's all you need.

Now the cons:
The app will only work on Android phones and computers, but they only include mini USB and type C cables so unless you have a PC with USB type C ports or an Android with OTG functionality you won't be able to connect to the Titan. I managed to set mine up with a friends phone and later plugged into my desktop computer's sole type C port, but I really would like Gate to include a type C to USB type A adaptor so standard USB ports can be used since most people have Iphones and older computers/laptops.
The Titan itself is also rather delicate, it's a very thin PCB and if you are not gentle I could see it easily breaking. The pins that connect the two halves are also a failure point so be careful, installing this thing is a bit like installing a PC motherboard: don't short it, don't break off components, and don't break pins.
The included wiring is rather meh, I was hoping it'd be 14awg silicone wire but it's much thinner plastic-sheathed wire. The deans plug is fine, but I would've liked to see additional reinforcement for the solder points. The motor connectors on mine were good though, they bent without breaking and connect tightly.

Overall the cons are more just things to be aware of or things which Gate should consider improving in the future. This is a solid product and I would totally recommend it if it fits your budget and desires.

"Be aware, the latest version does not come with the small tamiya to standard deans battery adapter. I messed up and didn't order one. Not knocking any stars off because of my mistake. Amazing product.

"Absolutly amazing fet. The options and controls it gives you is amazing. I installed mine in a Krytac Trident. there was a little modification that had to be done to the gearbox but all in all it wasn't too bad. If you are putting together a high performance build I would definitely recommend installing one.

"Overall a great unit. Tons of features and very customizable. Install is easy.

Non stop issues with optical sensors in my particular build though. Works great when it works.... Destroys internals when it doesn't. Beyond frustrating. Android app is glitchy after the latest update.... No help from gate.

Lots of room for improvement.
