" First off I believe Evike sent me a courtesy nylon head since the description doesn't say anything about it, but it doesn't fit. It's the thought that counts I guess. And second, the brass connections are slightly larger than the plastic rod so there is a chance of scratching your inner barrel. I've found that putting masking tape over the connections is a helpful safeguard and it helps because the brass connectors and the handle aren't necessarily fixed to the rods which causes them to spin freely preventing me from twisting while pushing it down my barrel.
" While a great idea in concept, it has been executed fairly poorly. The red plastic is just a sheath for the metal piping, meaning that you have to hold the small metal parts to screw in the extensions. I haven't used the loop attachment yet, but the brushheads' screws seem to be too large for the handle and its' extensions, which means you have an attached, but wobbly brush in your barrel, and if you haven't gotten it in there really good, it may get stuck. When cleaning, one may try and use the red to twist, but again, you'll just be twisting a plastic sheath, not the brush inside.
