"Purchased for an apr115 (silver edge gearbox)
I definitely think it is worth the money although I killed mine.
Upon initial install I tested and it worked great before I completely assembled it.
the smaller Selector plate that came with the package was molded just short of being able to go from semi to full where full would not engage. No problem I used the one that came with the original gear box but in doing so I broke the very delicate little black piece of plastic that protrudes from the back of the trigger component that is supposed to interact with the selector plate. ( a little bigger than a pin head ) Ok I will live with just semi for now. Once completely assembled you come to find out that the safety lever catches the trigger mechanism so it wont come out of safety. No problem I took it apart and ground down the safety lever until it clears the trigger box. Now once I put it all back together you come to find out that the wires that come out the back, they use couplings so close that it makes it too thick for the stock barrel to fit. no problem I used my handy Dremel to grind out some of the barrel to accommodate the thicker wires. I am excited almost there. Now its completely back together and tested the programing, all is good, response is great feeling good. called my son and guess what when he went to use we smelled burning. Ha, I win I think I used up all my bad luck for the year. Oh yes another little note be careful with the wires that attach to the trigger unit. 4 wires in a little plastic encasing were loose on mine to where I actually had to reinsert it. Even after all that I still think its a bargain just be extra careful with it and inspect and correct.
