"Have been testing this out as of recent and can say definitely one of the best options for the price. I have really enjoyed my experience with the rifle. The only aftermarket things I have done to the rifle are added a t1, paracord rail wrap and slapped a few stickers on the stock.
"After years of using Tippmann paintball markers I decided my first airsoft gun should follow suit and I was good to trust it. Even though it isn't actually made by Tippmann it still carries the name well. Performs well and I recommend it for an entry level gun. I'm glad I went with it. I will have to say though that the magazine included isn't that great. After about three games it jammed up pretty good to the point even a few good slaps wouldn't make it feed. So if you go with this gun I would also order a couple backup magazines.
"I ordered the Tippmann Commando as my first m4 Airsoft AEG and absolutely enjoy using it. Shortly after getting it I used it in a game, although I bought the CQB style it performed perfectly in 200 ft engagements and gets right around 35-0-370 fps with .20g bbs. However, it does have some downsides. Such as the externals are not very modular. You cannot remove the orange flash hider or any of the barrel nor the upper rail system. If you are getting this gun just for a cheap project just go with a G&G combat machine. But as a starter M4 its awesome and I have had no issues with it. Although it shoots a little hot for my indoor range its perfect for outdoor CQB. One other thing is the Mid-cap magazine that comes in the box performs great however I would highly recommend getting either a Hi-cap or at least two more mid-caps because it burns through the bbs quick.
