"This thing is awesome! I love my G36C, but I hated its painfully long trigger pull. With this mosfet you can tune your trigger sensitivity which is a huge deal for a V3 gearbox. It also helps that the unit is inside the gearbox, so it won’t use battery space. I highly recommend upgrading to the advanced firmware if you want to turn your gun into a powerhouse.
The only con that I can find is that the light from the optic sensors can escape from your trigger area, so you can be spotted in really dark areas or night games.

"Installed in an 805 Bren and although this was my first AEG, and first time opening a gear box, the install went smoothly and functions great. The instruction manuals and plethora of videos available were a real help. The motor wires are longer than I needed and the included connectors and battery Tamaiya-Deans conversion kit was a great addition. Overall this is a great upgrade kit and provides everything needed to get it done right.

"I purchased the advanced v3 set from evike outpost ontario to install in my tokyo marui AUG. It's a tight fit, but everything ended up coming together. The pcb was touching the spur gear until I pushed it away and screwed it down with the cutoff screw w/ blue loctite. Its now ~.5mm from the pcb. A decent shim job is essential to the functionality of this fire controller. I had firing issues in AUG selector mode until I updated to v3 in the firmware with my phone - which works flawlessly by the way. The app is clear and easy to use without lacking functionality. The statics are fun, (amperage readings are a bit off, but they're close enough) and the diagnostics are a nice touch. This or a chimera are the only solution to the aug's god awful trigger setup. I can't speak for the btc, but I feel this is well worth the upgrade if you want to stick with the aug.
