VISM by NcStar Keymod Vertical Short Grip

"It's good sturdy and workable. I somehow managed to pop the pressure plate screw out and was able to easily put it back in.
The only downside would be the battery compartment. It is ....bleh. The cap is plastic as well as the wings that keep it in place. One of them was messed up when I first opened it. The battery compartment also requires a flat head, but use a little too much pressure and it will gouge the battery compartment top.
Overall it's good and I trust the foregrip part, but not the battery storage part.

"The grip isn't half bad. It's short length so as not to be too intrusive, and is very tactile to help you maintain a grip even without gloves. It obviously mounts right onto your keymod, meaning you don't need to spend extra dosh on a rail. It's not BAD for a $10 grip, but it has its drawbacks, in that it is really annoying to install.

I made a quick five minute long tutorial video on YouTube, covering how to install this forward grip. I made the video because there is not an included instruction manual, and there are no instructions on the Evike website to help with installation. Now, onto some pros and cons:

PROS:
-Inexpensive
-Sturdy, once you finally get it attached
-Pleasant to look at
-Ergonomic and tactile

CONS:
-No instruction sheet
-Was VERY frustrating to install, not particularly user friendly.
-Not EXACTLY Tool-Less Mounting. There are two screws which are adjusted via an included Allen Key that need to be slightly loosened in order to properly cling to the keymod system. I had to learn this the hard way when I got the grip mounted for the first time; I gave it a tug to make sure it was sturdy, and the grip became detached and sent my hand flying into my magazine well, giving me a surprising bruise. If I had known to loosen the two screws on top to give it a better grip, I could have been spared.
--BUT, to be fair, once the initial setup is complete, you CAN take it on and off without the usage of tools.

Overall rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
A quality product, especially for the price, but a very frustrating mounting experience. Once again, I hope that the video I made helps your mounting experience become a lot more streamlined than my own.
