Elite Force Next Gen CFR M4 Airsoft AEG (Color: Black)

"FANTASTIC beginner- or mid-level AEG. I purchased this after literally 3 YEARS of researching before getting into airsoft. It's been another 3 years since the purchase, and the gun is finally giving out (I think it's the motor). Every use has been outdoors.

Good gun out of the box. Elite Force midcaps feed perfectly and it's taken every other mag I've thrown in it. Used the recommended 9.6v 1600mah battery and smart charger. Accuracy and ROF are decent enough to compete. Construction is very sturdy. Barely any wobble in the rail system after all the abuse it's taken.

Also, this gun has given me the chance as a tech noob to figure out basic upgrades. Only one I've made so far is a 500mm Angel Custom 6.01 tightbore barrel. This GREATLY improved my accuracy and shot my fps up to 430 with .20's, which was ok for the outdoor field where I played at the time. Gradually this fell down to the high 300's as everything settled into place. I'll definitely keep this gun to tech on, and I expect it to keep running for a long time.

No regrets with this purchase.

"Greatest. Beginner. Gun. EVER. I CANNOT stress how much I love this gun. It fits every single M4 Mag i put in it. 9.6v 1600mAh Nunchuck Battery fits great. Can last DAYS skirmishing without fail. Served me faithfully well for 2 years, finally sold it to my friend and it still performs well. Shoots 350-370fps with .25 bbs. Great entry level gun, can even serve intermediate players. 10/10 would recommend!

"Great beginners gun no doubt. It's light, compact, shoots straight, decent rof for price range.. definitely worth the buck. Hop up unit works nicely. Really nothing to complain about.

"I got one of these from the bone yard and it's not a bad gun. I think the issue with the one I received was a loose motor connection, once I reconnected it the gun work just fine. It's a budget gun so I didn't expect too much. The outer barrel past the gas block is all one piece so I ended up removing about half the outer barrel just to remove the orange tip. Thankfully I had a spare short inner barrel I that I could place in the gun. I was able to remove the stock base plate and replace with a metal one that works with single point slings. The stock is okay, you can only fit nun-chuck or crane stock batteries, no small brick. I could not fit hexmags into the mag well but I had no issues with Krytac mags or the metal style ones (like the mag that comes with the M4). Other than a those few issues, it's a decent gun that I can now use for CQB. I recommend this gun for those looking for budget or entry gun into airsoft.

"Had this gun about a month. Its very solid gun and im very happy with it, it shoots really good and is well built for the money. Only negatives I would say is the sights that come on it are kinda cheap and i took them off immediately and also the barrel thread was 14mm positive not negative which kind of sucked since I ordered a flash hider with it that was 14mm negative.

"Just received my M4. Contrary to the description, the rails do not fit any of the 20mm rail attachments I have. This is probably due to poor tolerances, rather than actual incompatibility. Also, the magwell does not easily fit Elite Force's own stanag style mid caps. I have to use all my strength to shove them in there (again, this is probably just poor tolerances, not actual incompatibility). I'm going to have to shave down the inside of the magwell just to get them to fit. There is no way a pmag is ever going to fit. Finish on the upper and lower are fine for this price point, but the finish on the stock feels really cheap. The rotary style hop up is difficult to rotate, I guess that's a good thing? Note that the charging handle doesn't lock the "action" back. So you'll have to hold it open yourself if you want to adjust the hop up. Don't know if this is intentional or just a problem with mine, but a bit annoying. When I do use the charging handle, its spring makes a loud twanging noise, which makes it feel very cheap. Can't comment on performance or internals because I had some parts replaced before receiving the gun.

"The elite force cfr is a good starting aeg except for the fact the gun came with the threads on the barrel stripped the handgrip is held in by glue only the only thing that this gun is doing now is collecting dust
