"I've had mine for a few months now and have enjoyed it quite a bit. The standard 5.5" version of this pistol is my standard sidearm, while I got this as a collectible and will only field it every once in a while. It functions well and is accurate at CQB ranges and gets a decent velocity even when using 6rnd shotshells which is a plus for cowboys like myself. I challenge all of you "Tacticool" airsofters to prove that this is at all any less effective a sidearm than some 30+ round Hicapa or an M9.
"A really decent CQB sidearm as well a heck of a head turner when used in skilled hands.
I personally am familiar with single action firearms in the real steel world so packing an SAA style revolver into a skirmish has been a trip to play with. Whenever my primary runs out and I know I can reach them or at least keep them ducking down. I draw my Wildcard out and blast away.
Many players that have seen me shoot with this can't help but comment about feeling like they are in a western gunfight because of how well I can use this gun in the game or how awesome it is to see it shooting at enemy players.
The hammer is a little large to thumb but if again, are familiar with single actions, it isn't too much a biggy to thumb down completely.
The gun does come with spare shells but to be more practical, I carry a spare speed loader to fill the shells since they do load from the back which helps a lot.
The range on this isn't too bad, with .28s you can reach a fair distance before it quickly drops, of course, two out of three shots always tend to veer off to the right or left before they actually fly straight but that's an airsoft gun for you.
The plastic front sight popped off mine a while back but it hasn't been too much of a problem in terms of shooting, I have the spare lost in my gear back somewhere. XD
This little pistol handles it's Co2 very well for a single cartridge, even if being fired a lot, can last a guy a whole game day before needing to be changed out.
Of course, I don't have a proper holster for it so I have jury-rigged a set of zip ties to it to make a loop for a lanyard so if it falls out It won't get left behind. so prop tip: get the right holster.
Overall, this little revolver is perfect for if you like to shoot revolvers over autoloads in airsoft. While this model is still available, I would recommend it.
"For: Elite Force Legends Wildcard Co2 Revolver Airsoft Gun (Silver)
First off , The Gun is not nickel plated , it has a whethered finish to it which adds to it's beauty.. I can't believe how fast this item sold out on Airsoft GI,, as soon as I saw it , I moved quickly and grabbed it because no other Airsoft Airgun store in the US chose to carry it other than Airsoft GI - Hoo- Rayyyy !!! The gun sold out in a week and a half....Umarex primarily came out with this gun as a pellet shooter with a rifled barrel in .177 cal.. It was "Promoted" as the weapon of choice for Sylvester Stallone's secondary sidearm , in the "Expendables" movies.
The main attributes of this Air soft Single Action Army 3.5 inch barrel Colt .45 is the realistic functionality of the weapon , and above all,, it's looks. The hammer and barrel are "Customized" insofar as the hammer is built for , Quick Draw Fanning . The end of the Barrel is a bit wider than a traditional Colt .45 SAA Peacemaker,, and the Gun comes with 3 removable short sights .The Grips are impeccable and have the coolest silver inlaid "Ace of Spades " in the center.. Loading the gun is a trip, You get 12 cartridges that take the 6mm bb's in the back.. The Action and the Feel of this gun is very Crisp and hefty. It shoots hard, and it's All-Metal Construction , is worth whatever price You happen to pick it up for. THIS AIR SOFT GUN IS A MUST FOR YOUR COLLECTION !!!!!!
The only "Cons" , I have with the Wildcard is the Cartridges, and of course the orange tip .I did manage to pick up some Dan Wesson ASG 6 mm Airsoft Cartridges that will take my .30gr., aluminum bb's, which will make my Wildcard easier to load and look much more realistic ! ,,,
