"I got this gun a year or two ago and I’m happy to say it still performs great. All I had to do was deal with the ammo problem, so I got an echo 1 fat mag. Now I never worry about running out of ammo. Would also recommend to run .25s or .28s with this gun. The trigger pull though gets a bit too long for me so I’m going to upgrade with a maxx trigger. Overall, the best gun for cqb other than the arp 9.

"Update to my previous post:
I purchased two of these M4 Patriot's total. I have upgraded one of them so far by mailing the whole rifle to PolarStar Airsoft. I also sent them an aftermarket enlarged trigger guard I got from Amazon and a Speed Airsoft M4 tunable trigger. They gutted out the AEG internals and installed a PolarStar F1, which is a programmable pneumatic system that uses a solenoid. I paired this up with a Ninja Superlite 4500psi 45ci SLP HPA tank along with a Redline SFR regulator.I added a Tokyo Marui Full Auto Tracer unit to the end of the barrel and fire Matrix glow in the dark BBs thru it. It uses a minature 350mah 2cell lipo that easily fits in the hand guard area. And dang, this thing is a super beast now. It is very air efficient, shoots ninja quiet, trigger is adjustable so I made it break glass like a real steel 1911, repeat shots are tightly spaced between each other and scant maintenance required since only has 5 moving parts. I am saving up to upgrade the 2nd weapon just like the first one.

"I purchased this for use in an indoor CQC facility. I used Testor's gloss white
paint to highlight the front and rear sights so sight picture stands out more.
I dont use slings so I removed the rear sling mount easily.

Pros: High quality craftsmanship. Made in japan. Looks and feels great.
Trigger response good. Comes with aluminum flash hider to replace
orange plastic tip thing. Can accurately group shots far away with ease.
Comes with high quality mag that holds 190 rounds. This mag is so much
better than a JG mag I have. Weapon weights only 4 pounds so easy to
manuever around tight spaces and run with it.

Cons: I purchased a recommended 8.4v 1600mAh 7 cell Nimh small type battery to use
in this gun. I could not get this battery to fit in inside the handguard area
to save my life. In order to get it to fit, I used a belt sander and thinned out
the bottom portion of the barrel to build more height clearance for the battery.
The recommended lipo that evike suggest should fit a lot better. Or maybe the
tokyo marui 1300 mAh mini s battery should fit better also.
