"I have a few Fortis items and all are great except this last purchase. Its nothing I can not fix but it is kind of a QC issue. I ordered it from Evike over a week ago and it finally arrived today but when I went to install it the fit was way out as it would not tighten down tight on a Daniel Defense picatiny quad rail free float hand guard. Had plenty of side to side slop. After looking everything over I found that the inner side of the mounting screw mount still needed more milling by about maybe ten thousands of an inch before it could possibly mate solid. I achieved this by milling it down with a Dremel tool but a lot of people do not have the mechanic knowledge or tools to be able to correct something that should not be an issue in the first place. Other than that, shipping could have been faster but the finish is above what one could want.
