The cylinder is larger than a standard V3 AEG cylinder, this is good as it allows more air to be pushed down your barrel, allowing you to use longer barrels.
The bushings are great. So is the Guide rod, and the spring.
Cylinder head does not fit snugly into the cylinder, I had to use Teflon tape to get this to hold compression a little better.
The Nozzle is plastic, and did not come with an O-ring. Might as well throw this away.
The piston head is ported, thus wrecking any compression you may get. It also has too much play in the cylinder. I had to add Teflon tape under the O-ring to get this thing to even hold compression properly.
The piston itself has all metal teeth. I cant, for the life of me figure out why they would do this. The first 2 teeth after the catch tooth need to be filed down anyway to correct AOE. They should be plastic. So I had to use a dremel and lots of elbow grease to fix this oversight.
Overall, this is a "good" purchase, if you are a tech, but don't expect this to work well on its own. The parts need major modifications in order to work as intended, and a MAJOR oversight on the part of the company in including a nozzle made of plastic, with NO O-ring. This nozzle will crack with the M150 spring.
"Took a chance with this kit due to it being on a steep sale. IM just going to break it down on whats good and whats terrible.
The lightened piston, isnt. Though its been skeletonized its the same weight as a stock JG polycarb. The metal rack teeth look to be of decent quality however and overall, it should prove reliable.
Piston head. Terrible compression. Absolutely worthless, again a stock JG head in the same cylinder had much better compression.
Nozzle. Its plastic, but has an internal oring so that is an improvement over a non-oring nozzle.
Cylinder. Its incredibly tight, so much so that even with DOW 55 lube on the cylinder head it still cut its orings. Its not a good sign when your product doesnt fit in itself.
Cylinder head. BEfore destroying the orings I tried the head in another cylinder and it fit well. Cylinder head is a keeper for sure.
Tappet plate. Id be careful with this. Its extremely rigid and I'd be afraid to bend it too much in case it just snaps.
Bearings. Nothing wrong with these. Good quality, will keep an eye on them as they are used more.
Spring guide. Its a ball bearing spring guide. Its a keeper.
