"This gun is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!
I have been playing airsoft for almost four years and have gone through (broken) two M4's. I was looking for a new gun when I saw the 4CRS and was extremely pleased with its reviews, and components. I bought the gun and straight out of the box it shot approx. 100 YARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a great gun and I would recommend it to anyone. Especially if your looking for a reliable, accurate, long range, lightweight, and full metal (except pistol grip and stock) airsoft rifle.

the only con to this gun was that the stock is slightly loose but the buffer tube is not
the rest of the gun is solid.

"I own the Gen 2 version of this gun and have been running it for about a month. Seems to hold up really well and by far better than any G&G or Classic Army proline out there. There were many things that surprised me about the rifle and relatively few that upset me.

Pros:
18rps with a 9.6v
Chrono'd @ 346 with .20s
Metal recievers and RIS yet surprisingly light!
Flip up sights
Above average trigger response
*INCREDIBLE RANGE for its length!!

Cons:
Buffer tube lock unscrews during intensive use
**Magwell is too large to properly seat some magazines

Stock my .20s were flying too high with the hopup turned off, but using .25s solved the problem and made for a straight flight path to about 35yds. Eventually I swapped out the stock barrel and bucking for a KM/Head 1950 6.04 mm TN tight bore barrel and a PDI W-Hold bucking... and the results were INCREDIBLE!! Now like the stock bucking the BBS were traveling too high with the hopup turned off, so I switched to .30s and now the flight path is like a laser. I was able to hit a head sized target from about 50yds nearly every shot! I suggest upgrading the bucking and barrel first for any AEG, as you will notice a huge difference.

All in all great gun and an excellent product by VFC made cheaper by Elite Force! Would highly recommend the rifle and seeing as how the new Gen 3s have integrated MOSFETs and a significantly better stock you can't go wrong with it. 10/10

"This rifle is amazing.

I've owned this rifle for roughly a year now and maybe put 30K rounds through it and it's been flawless. I was able to score a great deal on it through Evike during one of their sales. I had my eye on it for sometime and I'm glad I pulled the trigger to purchase it when I did. I haven't experienced one hiccup with it and I plan on running it as my primary for years to come. The things I have found that work best with it are .25 gram Elite Force BBs, KWA K120 magazines, and a Tenergy 11.1V Lipo battery. To make things a bit more sturdy on it I added a piece of adhesive velcro to the inside of the mag-well and on the buffer tube to get rid of any mag or stock wobble. The rifle shoots roughly 310FPS with .25s and shoots at a blistering 27+ BBs per second. I don't know about you but that is more than enough BBs a second to destroy some people in CQB! Which by the way it's amazing in close quarters but has no problem reaching out and hitting someone at 175+ feet. This rifle is probably one of the best airsoft guns you can pick up stock. Better than a KWA in my opinion. Other than adding your favorite attachments, their is no need to fiddle with or crack open the internals until it dies on you and even then you have a 1 year warranty to back everything up which is just awesome. If you're even considering purchasing the 4CRS just go ahead and do so because you will not be disappointed.

"The Elite Force 4crs is an amazing gun right out of the box! I got this gun on Saturday which was Memorial Day weekend and got it Friday with free 3 day shipping, which was nice.

Pros:
Very good weight
Shoots far and accurate
Easy hop-up adjustment
Good hi-cap mag
Full metal
One point sling mount
A lot of rail space

Cons:
Very sharp rials, so get rail cover or a
Not the best sights, do get a red dot or other iron sights

Overall, very good gun I recommend buying it if you want a very nice m4.

"Outstanding gun, great quality

Pros:
-Full metal(Could be con depending on person)
-VFC
-Working bolt catch
-Hop up wheel is stiff so it doesn't change easy in middle of battle
-270mm 6.04 tightbore

Cons
-Stock may be wobbly at first but easy fix(maybe it's just mine)
-Flash hider impossible to get off so if you are extending barrel and you want to put a mock suppressor to cover it, get this one: http://www.evike.com/products/39178/ I have tried it and it fits nicely.

"Incredible performance. The OEM by VFC says it all. This rifle is accurate, lightweight, and perfect for CQB. Now while I say it is good for CQB it is just as accurate as my G&P that has a Madbull 6.03 tightbore barrel. Just get yourself a 7.4 stick type lipo and you will be set with this rifle. I do recommend getting the Elite Force plastic midcaps. They feed incredibly. All in all a perfect stock rifle.

"I personally love this gun I don't have it yet but will soon but my friend has let me use it plenty of times and the rate of fire is amazing and is dead accurate I can't recommend this gun anymore it is just flat out amazing its a must have.

"this is one of my favorite guns i run it with a sorbo pad one of the very best cqb guns excellent internals alot like classic army back in the day.

the upper and lower reciever i think is aluminum ? but the rails are definetly magnesuem since they deform when shot at (i found that out when people shot at me odd) not to bad though though i wouldnt know what to replace the rails with if they break.

still an excellent gun and one ill use for many years to go :)

"i bought this gun a little over a year ago from a friend who bought it from Evike. this gun has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! it does require some minor upgrades to get to my approval level. i bought a 4in QD KAC suppressor for it off Evike and put on a 363mm 6.01 Angels Custom tab into it and it now out ranges and is more accurate than any sniper rifles ive seen on the field, indoor or outdoor. it is the only gun i feel is necessary to put 4x Acog on. it is pin point accurate on semi. i only use semi btw. in my indoor field i can precisely hit any target with this beast! i highly recommend this to anyone! i also just recently installed a M120 motor in it but have not yet played with it. it makes it a lot smoother though! i find 7.4 lipos with a deans conversion are best for this gun.

"What can I tell you about the m4crs? You deserve to buy this for yourself immediately. I'm not going to do the whole pro v con thing that everyone does. I haven't found any cons yet. Tough, accurate, nice rate of fire, with enough rail space to put anything you could desire on it.

I play outdoor with this little unit and have not been disappointed. I put my madbul python in there and a supressor for some more inner barrel length and I can hang with...no thats incorrect...I tear people to pieces with this thing. I got SO lucky with this rifle. I bought it on a whim for the metal body, and the crane stock, thinking that if it bit big time, I'd gut it and throw in some craziness. No need at all...this thing is ready to go.

Loki, as I lovingly call him, was born on a crisp Tiwanese morning. He traveled the ocean long to find the shores of Southern California, where he waited patiently to be purchased through Evike. Upon arrival, he did glorious battle in my hands, rending mere mortals from the plain of reality.

I....love.......this gun. Get you one.

"I started playing airsoft 10 years ago and took a 4 year break recently. I have 4 different Tokyo Mauri models, while being good enough quality to last that long and still function very well, they are plastic. I bought this gun 2 months ago after getting back into it and cannot say how satisfied I am. Its SOLID. the only wobble comes from the stock (not the buffer tube), which is manageable and to be expected with that style of stock.

The function is fantastic. Im running an 11.something LiPo in it with no troubles at all. The rate of fire is insane with this battery, cannot even compare to my TM guns. The overall build quality is superb and I've heard that the internals are amazing as well from several air-smiths.

I have been using this gun for mostly indoor CQB and have yet to really get the hop up tuned in at long distance. I cannot attest to its outdoor function, but I'm assuming its as awesome as indoors.

Accepts mid cap P-Mags (I highly recommend them)

Pros:
Everything!
-Solid, all metal, superb performance
-functioning bolt catch!!!
-hop up is not the usual m4 style, its more like the type used in g36s. I find it easier to adjust.
-Umarex claims that the barrel is tight bore precision but i cannot verify

Cons:
Minor stuff thats not at all an issue
-Its tough to get the stock flash hider off....boil the tip of the gun in a small pot of water to loosen the glue.
-the hop up unit *might* be plastic, not a deal breaker but something to think about upgrading down the line.
-mine came with a small factory defect of the distal iron site, the lever to lock it still functions but is off center, no big deal. Ive seen others of this model and theirs appear normal.

"I have had this gun for 2 years very solid but trigger response on semi is very delayed overall great though.
by Bryan G. on 05/09/2016
"Bought this gun through a different airsoft retailer; overall I'm very satisfied with this rifle as an entry-level high-end AEG.

Pros:
-Accurate
-Reliable
-Great stock Hop-Up Unit
-Attention to detail regarding cosmetics is generally good
-Build quality is generally good(no creaking, barrel-wobble, etc.)
-Lipo-ready
-Self-shimming system
-1 year manufacturer warranty through Umarex
-Oversized trigger guard allows you to shoot without your gloves obstructing you

Cons:
-Cranestock is wobbly and feels like clone-grade quality
-When I got it out of the box, the buffer tube was a little loose
-Battery compartment on cranestock has on opposite end that pop-out rather easily
-Magwell is a little too large and can result in a lot of fumbling around when swapping out mags to get them to lock into place(no feeding issues, though)

"I have had this gun for about 5 months now and have put about 10,000 rounds through it. (I shoot A LOT) The gun has never jammed on me, given me miss feeds, and never has let me down. I have also dropped it from a second story onto a rocky woodland area and the only thing that got scuffed up was some of the paint on the RIS unit.

Pros:
- Around 345 FPS (great for CQB or close-mid range engagements outside)
- Great hop up
- Very accurate
- Pre-installed MOSFET (so you can safely use 11.1s)
- Around 27-28 RPS with a 11.1
- Great Trigger Response
- Gun is built like a tank
- Modular stock, you can take off pieces of it to make it look however you want it.

Cons:
- Motor height was not adjusted very well out of the box, got hot after one midcap on semi auto. (FIXED NOW by adjusting) This might just be a lemon on my side, but it still works great.
- The metal flash hider is literally impossible to get off. I havnt tried using a heat gun yet, but I've tried boiling and a hair dryer and it wont budge. (Good quality though)
- Stock was slightly wobbly (Fixed with electrical tape)
- Trigger reset very long.

Overall, I would give this gun a 9/10. It would deserve a 10/10 if I didn't need to tweak the motor to make it work correctly. This is a great gun for CQB players, but I have also brought it out to field games and had no problems hitting farther out enemies.
