" First off disassembly of a uar is not easy, lots of videos online show to turn the big wheel past the flash hider, pop the pins and slide forward, however, you must remove the side rails or they will hang up on the inner barrel and you'll damage them trying to force it apart. Once you can see the issue you can simply push out the trigger pin and pull the trigger out by turning it sideways and pulling it out the hole it's sticking out of. Then you put the pin halfway in and put the spring on the pin properly, put the trigger back in while trying not to move the spring from position, pop the triggers peg into the lever on the side, theeeen push the pin through the trigger to hold it to the lever and put the spring over the front of the trigger. I had to Google images the trigger and work backwards from where the spring was. Having my uar back for 10$ is amazing. FYI when my trigger broke it acted like the batteries were dying then stopped firing, then flopped around.
" This trigger does a good job of replacing my stock trigger for the UAR V2, but I saw fit to modify it in two ways. First, using JBWeld, I added a layer of sheet metal that covers the forward portion of the trigger that holds the trigger spring in place, directing the force of the trigger spring away from the weak part of the trigger where it broke the first time. Second, I added an adjustable layer of sheet metal to the rear portion of the trigger for the purpose of pushing the trigger significantly more forward than its standard resting position. Combined with a hair trigger mod inside the gearbox's trigger trolley mechanism, my UAR no longer has the huge trigger pull it came stock with, but instead has just a few millimeters of play.
" Gotta update the review. The trigger is broken again. Loaned it to a friend and it broke within 10 minutes. Kinda wish I could get an aircraft aluminum version of this, or even a 3D printed one because I bet that would be stronger.
