The SHS rechargeable 12g cartridge is a nice substitute for traditional Co2 cartridges. This little device comes in quite handy when you are out on the field and you run out of 12g Co2 cartridges with no way to resupply. Thanks to its rechargeable design, you may re-charge it using much more common green gas cans. The second purpose for using this rechargeable cartridge is to help regulate the FPS on some Co2 powered guns. Often times, Co2 guns can shoot too hot to clear CQB field limits; by using green gas, you may drop the FPS to a much more comfortable level to abide by field rules.

"The build quality is great, the functionality is not. Does not fit any of my CO2 guns, it leaks right away. It’s almost as if the top valve doesn’t seat correctly in the gun. If I can get it to stop leaking, it fires one shot at about 60-100fps, and then degasses the rest of the cartridge. I bought 4 of these to make my KWC UZI legal for CQB. Doesn’t work. I’m not going to give up on it. There has to be a way to modify the valve to fit properly, I just haven’t figured out how yet.

"This product was an utter disaster. I bought three of these to reduce large revolvers' fps without buying separate power-down shells. I tried filling them using two different cans of green gas, but none of the three could hold enough gas for one shot. When testing them with a CO2 1911, they showed that they weren't capable of holding much gas, if any. I was hoping the first one I tried was just a factory reject, but it became apparent that these things aren't worth the time, effort, and money. Avoid these things at all costs and be content with CO2 cartridges.
