"This is the third item i own from bravo (the others being a short dot scope and a scout light) and its pretty sturdy as lights go. the pads for the main light are recessed so you have to mean to push them, that being said they are kind of hard to activate if you aren't griping the vertical grip just right. however this light has some problems. it has NO IR FUNCTION despite what the pictures show. i initially bought it hoping for IR capabilities for night games with my NVGs. this light does however have a strobe. one thing i noticed when its attached to a rail (and it may just be my light) the light and vertical grip is canted to the right. the mount is attached straight but the whole light is slightly canted and causes the light beam to swing more to the left when your ADS (aiming down sights) as opposed to being centered.
well built out of good material
easy to mount to a 1913 rail
no IR for NVG use
takes 3 CR123A batteries (these are expensive but this is mainly a personal gripe as apposed to a flaw.)
light is crooked in housing
all in all i would recommend this over the Avengers model based on the material used but i wouldn't recommend this if your looking for an IR flashlight like i was.
"At first, this was the best foregrip I've ever owned, but after about a month of use, there's some problems.
As the other reviewer mentioned, it is slightly canted due to just bad design on the mounting bracket. It may be possible to shim it a bit to sit level, but it's not a deal breaker.
The real issue is that the battery compartment is just a mess. To start with, there is a locking tab that fits into multiple grooves on the cap, but on mine, no matter how you adjust it, you cannot have the cap screwed on tight and have the tab fit into the groove. It's annoying, but again, not a deal breaker.
Now, my flashlight doesn't work properly. The battery disconnect switch on the bottom of the grip doesn't always make good contact with the batteries, which means the light might come on, or it might not. It just doesn't fit right, which is again just poor design and fitment.
The pressure pads are also a bit wonky.
But, at the very least, it is a comfortable grip.
Good for large hands (I wear xl gloves, and it fills my hands nicely)
Bright light, fairly narrow beam (good or bad, I suppose)
Light isn't reliable
Unreliable pressure pads
Poor fitment of parts
