The Matrix Carbine outer barrel conversion kit comes with 4 sections to optimize your rifle's length possibilities! They are 265mm, 140mm, 140mm and 35mm respectively. The threads measure 15mm long.

    "This is a great, inexpensive outer barrel set. It allows for several different lengths, depending on the combination you use. I've used this product for about a year and a half now. Not once have any of the parts become broken, bent, stripped, or in any other way failed.

    Pros:
    variety of barrel total lengths, including CQB, carbine, and longer
    easy to install
    very compatible with other products
    durable
    tight-bore barrels fit inside easily, with just enough extra room to be able to wrap them
    inexpensive

    Cons:
    after a year and a half, absolutely none

    "This is a nice piece to have. With a 10" barrel it is fairly easy to go from a CQB style gun to a DMR or a Battle rifle set up.

    Barrel wobble is minimal but I'd still recommend a solid gas block to stop the barrel from moving as much.

    No real problems other than a slight downward angle of the 10" barrel. It was easily solved with a shim. Finish is nice and the threads are very clean.

    9/10 due to the need of a paper shim.

    "I have been quite pleased with the ruggedness and adaptability of this outer barrel. The three pieces attach to one another sturdily: allowing for quick barrel changes. I can go from a CQC setup to a long range field set up in under a minute. I would definitely recommend purchasing a nice flash hider with this as well.
