RA Tech Recoil Buffer Kit for WE AK Airsoft GBB Rifle

"This recoil buffer is awesome. Not only does it increase the recoil, it also helps the overall mechanical cycling of the gun. Once me and my 2 friends installed this in our guns they've never jammed. On many forums people have born witness to the same result with their guns after installing this.

Pros:
- Increases recoil.

- Fits both WE AK74 PMC and WE AK 74UN!

Cons:

Hint:
- Needs to be super glued to stay in place, the gun is so violent it shakes it loose otherwise.
- The front part benefits of being filed and polished to a perfectly round ball shape for better forward performance - easily done, just use a fine metal file and finish off with emery cloth.
- Make sure you lube the Recoil Buffers inside properly before inserting the carrier spring, for smooth preformance. Its a gas gun, all moving parts needs to be lubed proper.

This recoil buffer is well worth the money. Buy it while its still in stock.

"Great paint-job, looks nice, much heavier compared to the other one. However, installing it was a bit of a chore. When it came to screwing it in, it was very difficult to screw it in place, and I had to get some vice grips. In the end, I wasn't even able to screw it on all the way, so a few threads are still showing, but it works, and it's not a major issue.

Would recommend, but don't forget to put some kind of cloth on it if you are using vice grips, because the paint will chip.

"Great, but had rust in it out of the box

Must've gotten one that took a bit to reach the store, either that or had a bad seal in storage.

The amount of rust that was inside the recoil spring required me to put in a cleaning rod with a WD-40-soaked cloth and silicone lubrication to prevent future rusting.

Other than this, the piston doesn't make the gun more sluggish, but considering the material is now steel, you need to lubricate the outside too (use PTFE).

What about the recoil? The recoil now gives some muzzle climb, but how much of it you'll get depends on how you're holding it. Overall not bad, but you can definitely do without it.
