AIM Gas Blowback Russian Classic AK SVD Airsoft GBB Sniper Rifle (Color: Desert Tan)

"This gun is at the same time, both horrible and also amazing!!!

It can use Green Gas or CO2. With Green Gas it is horribly inefficient and can not get through a full magazine (22 rounds) with regularity. FPS drops off several times, and accuracy suffers from it.

However - Upgrade this to regulated HPA with a $15 nipple, and you have a wonderful, adjustable and fieldable gun!

CO2 is another story completely. Pop in a co2 mag and 12g cartridge, you got at least two full magazines of shots, a kick like a mule, and much more consistency. (1 1/2 mags or so worth of consistent FPS).

With CO2 it's a dream gun, just not adjustable.

If you don't intend to use co2 or HPA, maybe skip this one, but otherwise, it's currently my favorite gun.

Minor gripes:
Mag is a pain to load. Get the special svd speed loader for it.
If HPA Tapping the Green Gas mag, widen the charging access in the bottom plate. You can't remove it without the BBC spring flying out.

"Good quality, well packaged, shooting very hot out of box(700 fps) good for a sniper tho, only bad is the gas in the magazine only last one full clip, which really is'nt to bad because its a sniper and you wont be shooting maney rounds in a game. 22+1 shots per clip(+1 means one in the chamber) locks back after mag is empty, good kick, very realistic, nice weight! I recommend

Well right to it...iv used this gun 7 times now and i must say its surprises me every time good build quality accuracy and power. Vary hot at 400 to 430 so id recomend using diffrent bbs or changing spings around. I got the scope package with it and i have Alot of trouble getting it on and off but has stayed zeroed even tho iv banged it on with a hammer quite a few times all in all i am vary happy with this weapon __side note BUY THE BIPOD!!! This thing is long and somewhat unwieldy so unless you want to scratch your barrel on trees walls and other cover to get that perfect shot the get the bipod evike sell or get a clamp on bipod at your local dports store

"Had to convert a magazine to a 1/8" bulk feed CO2 bottle. The 12 gram canister changing is completely insane. After the following adapting, it is a dream weapon. Used a dummy CO2 adapter and drill a hole in the side of the mag to attach a 1/4" standard CO2 quick-release nozzle. Use some teflon tape for the nozzle-threading into the dummy CO2 adapter. If you are somewhat mechanical, this should be a reasonable task. The magazine shell comes off pretty easy if you have a metric allen wrench set: 2 screws. Watch out for the two levers at the top that are part of the ammo feed mechanism. You can see the lever at the back of the mag to the left of the gas nozzle. You can press it down with your finger to see how it works. Those fall off when the magazine shell is removed if you have it tipped the wrong way, so work on a clean work surface and pay attention.

I recommend sticking with the black.

For one co2 cartridge you get about 2.5 mags of shots. I'm working on upgrading one of my mags to a bulk co2 tank using some parts I found on the internet from co2 experts.
