"These are really great for the Thompson 1928 airsoft. Makes the gun look even more real than with the plastic grips. They fit the king arms gun to a "T". Really no extra weight added.
Only problem is the opening in the shoulder stock. It's too narrow for a lot of batteries on the market. More research needs to be done to make the opening fit more battery styles.
Over-all a very good add-on to this airsoft gun.

"The fit was tight but generally good. I had to use a dremel tool to deepen the hole for the pistol grip screw to find a grip so be prepared for that. The rear sling swivel inletting is to narrow and to long and the screw holes to wisely spaced so the original sling mount didn't fit required some dremel work and putty work with matching of color to the stock. The wood is close grained hardwood with little to no figure or value. Nothing to write home about and certainly nothing to brag about either. Battery compartment is very small so don't buy a battery until you take measurements. Quick access to the battery compartment is eliminated so now you will require a Philips screwdriver handy to change batteries. Otherwise the fit is tight. Personally I would have liked a lighter stain on the wood but that is easily changed with some light sanding and a new stain as the wood is quite hard and close grained, probably birch. Use deep penetrating stain and tru-oil for best finish. Let it soak in a dry throughly between coats. Use steel wool for a satin finish otherwise it will be very glossy.

"The quality of the wood is decent, but better looking than the fake wood furniture. The kit however did not fit real well on my Thompson, but maybe that’s because it’s a cyma model. I had to source new screws to make everything fit right.
