"This is a nice wiring kit for M249. I used it in an A&K M249 with no issues. I will say the connector for battery was a weird mini deans instead of the basic red deans connector. That was the only complaint I had. If you are in need of a new wiring kit or looking to upgrade this is the one for you.
"Ok, so I've had my A&K saw for over 2 years now, the trigger switch has always been a problem, I used to run high voltage batteries through my saw all the time and burn through trigger switches like crazy. During OP bad blood east, I really messed it up. I pushed my SAW to its limits with a 11.1v lipo with the stock wires and I ended up melting the wiring lol so I gave myself an ultimatum, spend $500 for an SMP conversion or spend $40 for this little ticket and *hope* it makes my saw worthy again. There are literally zero reviews or installation guides on this wiring, so I took the chance. And I'm glad I did! The black box is much bigger than you would imagine lol so I had a hard time figuring out where to put it, i ended up tucking it under the barrel, because it was too large to fit in my full stock. Wiring everything up was easy, although it uses mini deans connectors, that may be a con because you may have to leave your tamiyas behind or buy an adapter or new batteries. But with a mini deans 7.4 lipo with 1350mah, I was able to shoot over 2000+ BBS and the battery still read a to atleast 2/3 of a charge! (Thanks to my little lipo alarm) I do recommend buying a new trigger switch if you buy this and install both at the same time. That way there you can insure the longevity of your new system. I might be the first review ever for this upgraded wiring, so if you are contemplating buying this or spending another $450 to P* your saw, you do have a budget friendly option :)
