"Using this with the stock jg cylinder and it works just fine. This thing makes your gun LOUD. the noise increased by about 2 1/2 times compared to the stock spring. I wasn't going for quietness so its not an issue. Its takes a decent amount of strength to pull the bolt back once you install the spring. My 11 year old brother couldn't do it. It loosens up with some grease and after using it for a bit. It's also way longer than the stock spring which makes it hard to put back into the cylinder. The fps is a bit higher than it says so you may need to weight your piston or cut off a few rungs. I am using the bull trigger which pulls the piston back further, so this may be the cause.

All in all, its an awesome spring and works great. Buy it!

Pros:
High fps
durable
no "twang" like other springs
crsip and loud(could be a con)

Cons:
hard to pull back
difficult to put into the cylinder

"Very nice spring. Impressed with the quality, but like the other reviews have said. It hits really hard. I was using it with an action army piston with everything else stock and it was hitting 3.20J. So i cut off around 4 coils and got it shooting between 2.8J to 2.9J. I am going to leave it over night, and if that doesn't work I am going to cut off another 1 or 2 coils. (500fps = 2.8J with a .20g bb) just for people who don't know.

"If you want power, this spring has it! I it says 480-550 FPS put when i put it into my fully upgraded BAR10, i was hitting 610 FPS! I left the bolt cocked over night to try and compress the spring and it still chronoed at 580-600 after. I cut off about 4 coils and now its around 560 and ive only played about 1 or 2 games with it, so im hoping it will go down a bit more as it breaks in. I am using the bull trigger, which pulls the piston back a bit further than normal so that may be why my FPS is so high, also using Action Army cylinder and hop up chamber for a good air seal. Most fields regulate bolt snipers to 550FPS so my issue is getting it to or under that lol. Up next I have a sorbo pad coming in to drop it a little further while also quieting it down some. but like i said, if you want POWER, THIS is your spring!

"Used in: Tokyo Marui VSR-10.

The absolute best sniper spring out there. No questions asked. Super strong material, amazing tension, great black finish, tons of power and most important, the irregular pitch. Here's my setup.

- Action Army Trigger Group
- Action Army Cylinder and Nozzle
- Action Army Hop-Up Unit
- Action Army Piston
- Action Army Spring Guide
- ORGA 6.23 Widebore Barrel
- Laylax SP170 Spring
- Laylax Damper Pads

FPS is consistently 383 +/- 3 FPS. My effective range is 200 feet. My max range is 300 feet. Any further you don't even see the BB anymore. Groupings at the 200 feet mark are 10/10 hits on a man size target. Torso of course. I haven't really tested how consistent my Marui is at 300 feet. That's just too far and honestly, my furthest contact with other players is within my 200 feet. So it works perfectly. Definitely recommend this spring for the serious sniper out there.

NOTE: In order to use this spring, you need full steel internals! Trigger sears, cylinder, nozzle, etc. Aluminum spring guide and piston have worked well for me. I also recommend the Laylax Damper Pads. Reduces impact of the piston on the nozzle and dampens the sound significantly.
