CYMA Sport AK74 Airsoft AEG Rifle with Side Folding Polymer Stock (Package: Gun Only)

"I've had this gun for a few years now, and it has to be one of the best aeg's I have ever owned. I have no upgrades except for an Angel Custom HIVE suppressor (https://www.evike.com/products/64806/) on it and it is a beast. Running it with a Titan 11.1 and it is amazing.

Definitely reccomend this to someone who is trying to start out playing airsoft. It's a low price for how amazing it performs. CYMA is all around a great brand.

"I bought this thinking I was going to have to upgrade the crap out of it, but for $185 you’re getting what feels like a $300 gun minus a mosfet. I’ve used it for 5 games so far and I was able to outrange DMRs on several occasions last game. The only thing is you can out shoot the motor in semi so you have to put it in full auto to keep shooting (this can be solved with a mosfet). And for new players the weight might be a little tiring, it’s a heavy boi. The design is sleek and sexy this gun draws compliments from everyone who sees it. Taping the mags around the top will remove the wobble. All in all if you’re using this, nothing but death stalks the capitalist swine that you are facing.

"This replica is amazing, mine shoots 380 and out preforms most upgraded replicas at my field.

Only problems I have are that mags wiggle a bit and that my charging handle broke immediately.

Cons: some of it is nit-picky to me, some of these "cons" wont be cons for everyone
Be careful not to strip the metal on the stock, or the stock will become loose.
Can be a bit heavy so not the best gun for a younger person or someone with a lighter build.
The muzzle brake is super stiff, and is stripping the threads.
The Pin holding the muzzle brake is also super stiff Ihad to hammer it back, and now its stuck.
The lower handguard is very difficult to remove

All in all good gun, prob best AK at this price point, avoid the CM028's and grab this instead.

"Okay, If you are new to airsoft or are looking for a SOLID airsoft gun which is under 200 dollars look no further than this CYMA AK74. I have had numerous AKs from producers such as cybergun (the 60th Kalashnikov edition) and APS and this AK74 out performs both of them right out of the box. Also, the quality control on this rifle is amazing. The hop-up did take some breaking in, but after 2,000 rounds the bucking was broken in just right. Be prepared to hit targets up to 150ft away without issue.

Pros:
1. Solid mostly steal build. The gas block is zinc but big deal
2. Price point to performance is fantastic
3. It feeds beautifully
4. This will take your AK47 and 74 mags without any issue.
5. it has heft to it but it is not too heavy
6. The fire rate is more than acceptable with a 7.4 lipo battery.
7. It is relatively quiet compared to the other AKs in my collection. (You won’t disturb your neighbor when you are plinking are targets)

Cons:
1. You are NOT getting an LCT
2. You will need some lock tight 242 serviceable and a Phillips screw driver to tighten up all screws on the motor housing out of box. ( you should do this anyway to make sure that your motor lines up right with your gear set)
3. You need to oil the fun out of box

"This gun for the price is amazing. The construction is great and is worth it. The steel parts compose of the mag release, dust cover, outer barrel, and all small metal pieces while the gas tube, lower receiver, and sights are zinc. The gun is still very sturdy and will survive a drop. I personally run mine with a 350 fps spring , a drum mag, a flashlight, no flash hider, and no stock(to remove the stock all you have to do is pull a pin. You can put the stock back and there will be no damage). The gun isnt stellar but for the price the gun is fantastic and can hold it's own against an hpa.

"This gun is great! It's more powerful than other AEGs able to import to Canada. The folding stock works perfectly without any creaks. The gun comes with two sling mounts which I think is great. The Hi-Cap magazine included broke within one week. It also wobbles a lot. I recommend buying a better magazine. I got Matrix Mid-Cap magazines for these and they fit great with the exception of a little side-to-side movement when you forcefully wiggle it. What's even better is that this is an AK design so there is no restriction to remove the magazine.

"I bought 2 at the same time to recruit people or whatever, the mags they come with are meh, buy some MAG mid caps, they fit snug and dont wobble and are dirt cheap mags that feed great, 1 of 2 of the AK's charging handle was completely non functional, who cares tho, its airsoft, not like it's feeding real 5.45, apart from that one issue that inst even an issue in my eye's, these are hefty builds for beginners, and you want that out of you're external construction, you can beat the crap out of these externally, internally dont be fooled, its a VER.3 Gearbox, and compared to a V2 the 3 put's it to shame.

If you're interested in AK series, this is probably the best platform for the price point
One of the 2 will be getting an external overhaul, SVD barrel with a pkm bipod, and drum mag, will make this AK perform like a rpk-74

"Not bad for a starter gun, not as heavy as the wood models. I like the small orange tip not that large annoying one.

Pros
Tested it and shoots about 145+ feet could be more if upgraded from the plastic hop up to a metal one and a better barrel.
Fits king arms ak47 magazines
Fits bravo ak47 flash magazines
It takes 74 mags but the 47's work
Folding stock for cqb or easier shooting

Cons
shooting left, could but the sights.

"Picked this up because I wanted a heavy gun that was miserable to carry. Love it.
Pros:

-Accurate to real gun

-Mock bolt may come crooked. Easily fixed
-No built-in rails for sights ( buy one for $20, It's worth it)
- Heavy. But I like it that way
- Magazine that comes with it has feeding issues.

The externals are fantastic being what feels to be a steel with aluminum reciever. The handguard, pistol grip, and collapsable stock are plastic but a thick and strudy plastic. I've scrapped the plastic numerous times and barely any scratches! The metal reciever and barrel is fantastic as well. A few scratches but can take a beating! I've dropped this a few times already and everything works GREAT!

The internals are well put together as well. I was shooting 340-350fps with a .23 so it'll give you an idea of what to expect the fps to be. Which most likely makes the fps at around 390-410rps with a .20. I was also able yo hit a man sized target at around 150-180ft. With a Madbull 6.03 455mm inner barrel of course.

CYMA is really making their guns work horses as well as AFFORDABLE! So, if your looking for an affordable AK that also has full metal externals and internals your search can end here!

"Amazing quality, got this as my first gun. It's not jammed once, shoots well, amazing quality

You'll just need a charger and battery. It's absolutely worth the price!

"This is an excellent AK. It is usable for intermediate or beginner builds. I have been fielding it regularly for about a year and haven't had many problems.

Pros:
Weights good
Good construction
Plenty of battery space
shoots good
stock works and doesn't wobble (even when folded)

Cons:
None other than that black magazines (the one that comes with it and matrix midcaps) seem to wobble. the plum Matrix midcaps work fine.

Recommended:
get another stick and a good charger if you're buying into it. you will ruin your battery with the POS it comes with
