KJW 31 Round Magazine for Hi-Capa Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistols (Type: CO2)

"Bought this for my Nov. SSP1

The bottom cap needs to be filed- the lip that comes up the front of the mag doesn't allow the mag to click into the pistol. Had to file it down to make it work- easy enough. Not going to ding the mag for that.

Not much else to say- works as intended. I only get 1 mag out of 1 Co2 cartridge.

I only use my side arm 2-3 times in a full day, so atleast I'm getting all of my Co2 by the end of the day instead of having to decompress the cartridge and waste air because I didn't use it enough.

"No where does it tell you how long to fill it, I placed mine under gas for 7 seconds and got off a magazine and half. Mine wasn't even full still. No idea how long you can fill it, I believe 8-10 seconds max??

I filled mine up in 86F weather, lasted all day till some CQB action. I put two drops of oil in my propane tank and 2 more on my o-ring seal. I always shake the magazine after filling maybe that helped hold more gas? I heard to shake your magazines anyways. I also have the silver colored WE ones, those are nice too. 5/5 star both products.

Amazing pistol i love it. when my rifle gives me issues with feeding or anything i know i can rely on this pistol. i have no issues with it i use both the Co2 and green gas i alternate the mags to keep everything lubed and working. so far i have had no issues with attaching lasers or light to it. i read it on review what people had issues cuz its textured all the way but they go in smooth and have no wobble at all. all in all i love it and will def buy it again.. i have 3 greengas mags and 2 co2 and i want to try one of those WE 51 rd mags even if it says it won't work i wanna try because more bbs is better if not KJW should make extended mags lol.

DEF a must buy as a secondary weapon plus all replacement parts are easy to find and cheap.

"I've owned and operated these magazines for about 6 months now and I have to say that they outlasted the WE mags I got, and they are the only hi-capa mag I have found that will fit inside a standard pistol patch albeit it is a tight fit. Get them. If you take care of the mag, it'll take care of you when it counts.

"KJW did a good job on their mags. I've had mine for about 2 months now and no problem. I was forced to play with my KJW tactical hi-capa for a whole day because my AEG failed one me. Went throughout a lot of gas and I'm happy :D

"Kyle, co2 magazines are for cold temperature and people that don't want to use green gas

The Hi-CAPA by WE and KJW can handle Co2 because the guns are full metal. The power outputof Co2 is only slightly higher than green gas's output power so the wear and tear concern you have may not be ultra great of a deal

On the other hand Hi-capa parts are very easy to find, Evike.com sells everything you need to practically rebuild a gun cheap, unlike some brands such as Western Arms and KSC System 7. What I am trying to say is, the best way to prevent wear and tear is to not play...

"These mags are great! No leaking or problems for awhile. These work with a KJW Tactical 1911.

"Bought two of these at the exact same time to go along with my JAG Precision Combat Master 2011. One of them works beautifully- a seamless fit. The other one oddly came in a different shade of black (glossy, instead of matte black). This glossy fellow slides into the JAG but gets stuck at the end. It does NOT drop free and I have to yank it out while pushing my index finger through the slide ejection port... The mag is so tight in there that the mag release button does not press in. I am currently going to try and replace this mag through Customer Service so we'll see what happens...

I'm sure if I had gotten two of the matte black versions I would be writing a beaming 5 star review, but alas, it looks like I got two revisions although I tried my darnest to get one iteration by placing an order simultaneously.

Just be warned if you get unlucky like I did. Maybe these shiny black versions work fine on other pistols, but not the John Wick.

"I fixed the leaks myself, DIY don't rma your product follow my advice. I had got two extra co2 magazines through buying and getting a gun (free epic bonus) both of which leaked bad out through the top of the magazine. Only one I could RMA because the other was past the date I bought it. I ended up ordering repair spare parts directly from KJ-Works waited a few weeks. I got a new value release because people told me when it leaks the top that is what causes the gun to leak. I installed the new value release and the gun still leaked. I tried my 3rd co2 magazine value release in the "broken" magazines, and it had no problems, I knew then it was something with my other value releases. I decided to order JB weld ultimate black after watching a few videos on advice to repair my gun magazine. The instant I turned the screw back on I was relived to find it had worked. JB WELD ULTIMATE BLACK IS THE ANSWER TO FIXING YOUR LEAKING MAGAZINES (THROUGH THE TOP)

I applied it on a good amount via the threads and the o-ring itself.
You will need a Gas Valve Key Tool for the job, I used other tools before but it stripped up my value and now it has a giant gap in it. The key tool is a must, $15 well worth it.

Cons
new magazine leaked
RMA "repaired" magazine leaked
KJ-Works direct OEM replacement value release leaked

Pros
JB WELD ULTIMATE BLACK

No doubt it was a bad batch of magazine or all dried up, if you are buying this expect to repair this yourself. Now you can keep your magazine working for years with simple repairs.

4/5 stars, they need instructions on how to repair your own gear.

"these are good mags for the kjw 1911. remember to always use these green gas mags, because the cO2 mags are hard on the internals.

Pros:
Ok price
full metal
sells mags for both green gas and cO2

Cons:
A little hard to load gas into
BBs sometimes don't line up properly making the mag hold less
A little hard to fit in a standard pistol mag pouch

I still gave it 4 stars because its still worth getting

"Sure, this magazine is downright fun to use if you have a full-metal gun. It makes the KJW 1911 tactical kick like a .22, no lie! HOWEVER....I think that even still with the claimed "reinforced" parts, I think it had something to do with causing my gun to malfunction by putting stress on the parts.

Something all should note regardless, however, is that this magazine is guaranteed to blow on you eventually. The seal inside is not the best, and the co2 will eventually start blowing out the top immediately when a cartridge is pierced. I cannot confirm whether a new higher-quality valve can fix this or not. Evike even (in nice itty-bitty print) claims these magazines are unstable. So if you have your heart set on getting one, might as well have a better quality replacement valve just in case ;)

"This mag is pretty good when it decides to work.

At least twice now the CO2 cartridge has become stuck inside of the magazine and it refuses to come out. The only way that I have been able to remove it is with a hammer and a lot of forceful smashing I wish I didn't have to do.

Otherwise, the CO2 conservation is pretty great. It fires around 2 mags before having to be replaced and the CO2 retains much better than green gas. The kick and power that is added is also very pleasant.

Overall a good mag, but it just keeps getting stuck.
