Roger-Tech EVO406 Ultimate Edition Bluetooth Electronic Communications Headset (Color: Black)

"This headset is dope.

I can't find them anywhere else, in any other colorway than the limited edition clear, however the EVO406 headset (wired to aux 3.5mm bluetooth) is the ultimate mix between casual and practical. The headset's audio reproduction is decent for it's price tag, but certainly isn't going to highlight everything. Regardless, the ability to use bluetooth 3.5mm aux audios at the same time (bluetooth goes to right side, 3.5 goes to left when both are active) in an earpro system with audio reproduction is quite the offering.

As noted in other reviews, the primary issue with this headset comes down to it's plastic microphone connector. I modified my own once this piece snapped using cut-down dowel rods and duct tape, essentially creating a janky Comtac II - type microphone mounting system; since then, this system has worked without issue.

One thing to expect with this headset is excessive battery drain, if 1. you use all of it's features at once for long periods of time and 2. don't take your batteries out when the headset is not in use. Be sure to have a flathead screwdriver on hand to remove batteries, as they seat into the terminals with little to no wiggle room.

I've used this headset for airsoft and as an everyday pair of headphones. They are unique and work in their strange niche role. I simply wish for these to be restocked in it's various colorways, however it appears that the Roger-Technology company may no longer be in business (this may be something to keep in mind if you have worries about warranties / future restocks.)

I have concern over the wiring and the boom mic's quality, the mic's physical connector almost snapped on me when I was trying to reorganize it on my helmet.
