The Umbrella Corporation Weapons Research Group has been making expertly crafted weapons and weapons accessories since 2007. The design philosophy behind Umbrella Corporation is to offer practical, functional, and well thought out weapons systems that far exceed the expectations of the consumer to provide a definitive advantage.
The EMG Umbrella Corporation WRG M4 faithfully recreates the details of the real rifle. This AEG features high-detail Umbrella Corporation trademarks stamped deep on both side of the receiver, giving it an authentic appearance. The rifle features a light weight, ultra-slim machined aluminum MLOK free-float handguard, prefect for mounting all kinds of MLOK accessories. On top of the rifle you'll find a full-length 20mm Picatinny rail for optics as well as a set of folding front and rear iron sights. The functional bolt stop holds the mock bolt open to give easy access to the hopup adjustment dial.
Internally the EMG Umbrella Corporation M4 features a Tokyo Marui compatible Ver2 metal gearbox featuring heat treated reinforced high speed steel gears (13:1), 8mm steel bearings, full steel toothed piston, and high compression piston head & cylinder. The gearbox was meant to be incredibly high performance right out of the box, while at the same time offering an excellent platform for further tuning and specialty builds.
The EMG Umbrella Corporation M4 borrows a unique feature from CYMA that is the Quick Buffer System (QBS) which allows for rapid spring changes that can be done by hand. This efficient new system only requires the removal of your buffer tube castle nut to gain access to the captured guide rod and spring. No longer is it necessary to break open your receiver or even remove your stock from the buffer tube to change a spring.

(Write a review) "Had my first issue with the gun. Put a lavaithan v2.1 in it and had grease collect on the switch. Cleaned the grease off of the switch gun was running awesome. Turned to full auto and turned the rof up to 100%. The cylinder head rubber pad had actually dislodged and came back sideways in the cylinder. Then had a jam and the steel teeth kicked right out the back of the piston. Recommend using a rubber glue on the cylinder head pad so this does not happen to you. Evike recommend the 15 tooth shs piston to replace the old one. Hope this doesn't happen to any one else. This is really a.solid little rifle for the price and easily upgraded. "This plus a lavaithan is tip top minus having to swap out the piston head gasket.. pretty sweet out of the box. If you swap the gears for 16:1 for out door play and drop in the MOSFET you'll be extremely happy. Also was able to install a max hop and maple bucking. The hop took some grinding to fit the adjustment wheel. Have had no issues whit yet. "Initially, I had purchased the M4 rifle, but switched variants to the Carbine version under Evike Warranty.
-The rifle version of the platform feels slightly more centered and accurate with the bb's fired using the iron sights.
-The carbine version has a tendency to shoot towards the upper left side at least for the one I received. I think the difference is the length of the inner barrel. (380mm vs 363mm)
I know that down the line, there is a good chance I will need to replace the ETU. I also know that the air seal could be tighter. I've fired 2 kg worth of .28 Gram BB's out of the gun (Like 10,000 rounds). No internal Issues/malfunctions so far.
-Wired to Deans
-Can handle/ store a Titan 11.1v Li-ion battery easily
-Amazing out of the box performance
-No need to touch the gearbox
-Good trigger response
-Does not have a whiney AEG sound
Not Good or Bad:
This gun will require a few future upgrades, but not tons. The most important upgrade is a upgraded MOSFET. A lot of other owners have told me to also upgrade the piston/ air seal. I'd like to replace the barrel. The hop up is ok, but I would replace it with something better. The iron sights are mediocre, and I will probably add an optic instead. If I want to play CQB, I will need to switch the spring because I purchased the 400 FPS version. The SPR 350 version is probably ready to play on most airsoft fields, right out of the box.
-The stock wobbles slightly, but not enough to be actually annoying.
- The handguard can crack near the pin/ lower receiver
- Part of the plastic on my Deans plug was slightly worn down on one of the edges (the red part), and needed a protective coat added.
I would only recommend this gun to someone if they are willing to learn how to upgrade internals or pay for a gun tech.
This is probably the best choice for someone who is looking to revisit airsoft as a hobby. It's a great gun that will be very upgradable. I was being very nitpicky for a lot of my criticisms. The best part about it to me, is that the upgrades are not immediate requirements to enjoy the platform. 9.5/10
