" I did not use the rod wrap as pictured. After my slow pitch jigging rod was slightly damaged from rattling around in a rod holder, I wrapped rod itself from the knob to the reel seat. The problem is fixed. The wrap creates a nice cushiion for rods in transport. It is an easy install.
