"Really awesome and good looking but I bought this and my bbs cannot pass through this without hitting the top of the exit hole resulting in bbs getting stuck inside the suppressor and bbs shattering.

"Love the design and nice quality... I just didn't research well about the barrel extension. I didn't anticipate the hive to be empty inside... What I mean is, that, I didn't expect that you need to replace your short inner barrel with a longer one. In my case, a 380-390mm inner barrel, to be able to reach the end hole of the hive... A dumb dumb on my part... Hejehe

"First off, I don't own any Airsoft (yet). However, I do own a Crosman/DPMS DSBR. It looks pretty bad a$$ right out of the box but I wanted to beef it up a little so I started looking for a mock suppressor. I bought a couple of el-cheapo flea bay models. But them I found the Angel Custom HIVE. Now THIS is what I was looking for! I wanted the 130mm 14mm negative but it is on preorder status. I decided to pay the extra few bucks for the Power Up model just so I could have it.
When I first tried to install it on my DSBR I could only get it on for a few threads. So I decided to disassemble to figure out what the problem was. I was called away for a short while but when I got back to it I found the my cat was playing with the spring and all of the parts were on the floor. I did not know if I had all the parts or not. Now, I really did not need the power up feature on a .177 bb gun. I could have left it off but I sent off an email to the folks at evike dot com. They replied quickly and we were able to get it reassembled pretty fast.
As for my original problem, I discovered that there is a 1/16 set screw in the threads that I did not see at first. Problem solved.
The fit and finish are superb. There are no sharp edges and the design is well thought out. I will probably get into Airsoft at some point and I will still be able to use the HIVE on future purchases.

"Love this extension, it looks great on my gun and it does have that similar KAC appeal to it. I would buy another one if I had a gun to put it on.

"Love the look of the suppressor! Quality is great and works well with my HPA setup.
I bought the 130mm w/o power up. It has room inside the suppressor to fit foam or whatever if your country allows it.

"Bought the without the Power Up version +10fps increase on my gun. Very good, its metal so hitting against concrete and other metal objects it holds up well. Very good extension.

"This looks great and MAKE SURE YOU DONT GET THE POWER UP it makes the barrel to tight and the B.B.'s hit the suppresser but if you get the normal one they are amazing

"I bought this to hide my VFC MP7 inner barrel. I installed an A+ Rectifier 6.08mmX270mm inner barrel with its own bucking it came with. Far better results compared to stock. I have the Low Flow System discs to lower my muzzle velocity to CQB to cap at 300fps or .08ishJ with .2's.
For range I get 200ish ft using .28g EF or Novritsch .30g BBs with a 5 to 6 inch grouping for Indoors. For outdoors, I remove the disc and shoots 315fps with a .32g EF BBs.
The suppressor looks amazing and it feels great and is solid. It wont break easy, and probably the frame will break before the silencer does lol (damn you VFC).
Conclusion:
- Freaking AWESOME!!!

"The Hive mock suppressor is a very cool, good looking, piece. I chose the power up verson with the tightbore barrel in it, and I have a few things that I did wrong that I think would help a few of you. I put this on my stock Krytac spr.
However, note the inner barrel diameter, because of the larger diameter fitting into a tightbore, you could see where the problem is. Check the diameter first, a 6.03 or below would work best with the tightbore in this suppressor. My Krytac had a 6.05mm inner barrel and I recently upgraded it to a Laylax 6.03 and it cured my problems I had with this.
You can disassemble this suppressor, and if you've ordered the counterclockwise threads, then your suppressor will disassemble counterclockwise I believe.
The aesthetics of this suppressor are great. Goes fantastic with the hexmags and it goes great with my hex themed rifle. I've received many compliments with it on my rifle and it turns some eyes for sure.
