"Very light, mostly plastic, great as a loner or CQC gun.
Buy it on a SALE. 7.5/10

"I'd say this thing is fun to shoot great as a back up.

The spring is rough for a bit but doesn't disappoint if your using this of CQB games.

My major gripe I have is the plastic rail when pumping the gun tends to twist. If you have a tendency to torque the gun while pumping you'll notice the twist. Little annoying if you try to use a sight and it's tilted and front doesn't line up with the rear. I found I could simply twist the gun in hand to line it up again. Too be honest who is using sites with this thing anyway?

pump grip is nice since it has a rail and adding a grip makes it really easy to pump and use at first. I noticed some minor rubbing of the plastic pump grip due to it flexing and rubbing against the body while being pumped.

I like this gun a lot, it's fun and only needs BBs. Great to start out with or keep when gas and electric fail you. Get your self a shell holder with Velcro on the back and place an opposite pad on the side of the gun. I found they hold strong and is really convenient not having to search pockets. if anything carry an extra to swap out empties with a new strip.

"I purchased the Short Dark Earth and was really satisfied with it. The gun had a good feel in the thanks to the rubber grips. The fiber optic sights were a nice plus since most shotguns that I have seen do not have sighters, although they are a bit off and you will hit a bit above where you aimed. Pumping the gun will be a little difficult at first but gets easier. Pumping it on my gun on the right side scratches it a little but not too bad. The instruction manual is not in English, it is mostly Spanish with a few words in English for the pictures. One problem I ran into is that 2 bbs got stuck somewhere in the gun, the gun would shoot fine but would rattle I solved it by pointing the gun up and half cocking it repeatedly until the fell out of the gun. I would definitely recommend this gun.

"Pretty good gun for the money. Kind of disappointed there's no hop up would have liked to get a little bit longer of shots. And no 6 shot mode, come on fabarms, we wanna drain some shots into several enemies with one pump. Other than that not that bad of a gun. Comes with 2 decent shells tho if you plan on running this for more than just a small ttt game or like a 1 v 1 you'll want more shells. I haven't found a decent mount for picitiny or the side to hold shells yet still working on it. I don't even remember how but apparently I broke the flash hider within one hour of getting it, like the orange painted ring around the top broke in half. The Magpul afg 1 doesn't fit nicely on the rail so I suggest the standard vertical grip.

Pick yourself up some shells and your ready to go. Good gun for small games wouldn't suggest for like a big event or op, I suggest a gas gun for those purposes. Happy airsofting!

"Great gun, over all.
Comes with the basic junk like the speed-loader and the ram-rod. Instructions are in ITALIAN. I got this this gun for Christmas and it works fairly good. It also comes with 2 SHELLS. My only disappointment with the gun is that it has a spring problem and only shoots 2 rounds out of 3, then when I point the weapon down BB's fall out of the dysfunctional barrel. With the slot holes on the sides of the gun I have figured a way to put key mods on for a laser or other add-ons.
I recommend this gun to anyone, just simply BEWARE of the fact its mostly plastic.
Also don't crank the sights on too tight or you'll break the rails, I CRACKED mine.

"Bought the Compact Dark Earth to replace my Double Eagle M56A tri-shot (stock broke after 6 years rip first gun)

The Bad.
Plastic rails ($68 gun, not a big surprise)
Plastic Sling Mounts, cheap flimsy plastic. Feels like I could snap them trying to put a sling on it.
Pump scrapes the side of the receiver a little. Noticeable on the Dark Earth models.
Stock is shorter than expected, doesn't take long to get used ot it though.

The Good.
Marui style tri-shot. Performance is better than expected, Google maps ruler says I was shooting 100-120 feet to my target (tree) about a 5-6 foot spread with .25s, fell to the ground before the tree after I backed up about another 10ft.
Pump grip and pistol grip feel fantastic.
Door breaching style flash hider = Intimidation
Fiber optic style sights work great in daylight, plastic is cheap, thick enough to not be an issue, but it looks terrible.

Overall, the gun works better than most tri-shot replicas, but the plastic sling mounts are a major issue for me, as I was going to sling this over my shoulder as a secondary. Considering buying another in black for a backup/loaner gun.

"For the price of the Short no stock version it's great fun to get started. Awesome for CQB and indoor play. Put a vertical grip on it for easy pumping. Getting this on sale is a steal. Feels good in hand with some play in the foregrip and pistol grip but being mostly a firm plastic it's fine. I found it pumps easier after spraying a little silicone along the buffer tube. The sights are as you'd expect but look nice, the rear could do without the ghost ring for the pistol grip short version. You'll have a rough timing aiming that way anyway. If you need sights get the version with the stock.

First flaw I saw was the foregrip when pumping with a vertical grip likes make a cracking sound cause it pops against the upper shroud. There's enough play it twists and hits that and sounds like it's snapping in half. I hope the plastic holds up with the vertical grip but feels like the foregrip is going to break.

Second flaw I noticed trying to pump and aim down the sights they are off from the gun twisting. I have to twist the pistol grip to line up the sights. It's still noticeable without using a vertical grip but gets exaggerated a lot more with being easier to twist back.

Third final flaw was on the muzzle break one of the plastic tips at the end was broken, like it smacked into something. Pretty cheap easy to break plastic I'm guessing so might wanna watch poking stuff with it.

Still it's a great cheap spring shotgun. I hope it holds up during gameplay. I've heard the CO2 version is world's better and I may upgrade to that in time. If your getting started and not afraid to ware out your arms pumping this then buy it and go have fun. Buy extra shells and a holder you'll have plenty to blast fools with.

"I picked this up on sale after looking at the other revies, maybe something has changed in the build but even for a shotgun at the price point I am unimpressed. After running it for only a single game I found the gun seeming to fall apart, and I didn't really even crank on it. The pump seems to be separating and occasionally hangs up and the grip barely feels attached. I may update this review after taking it apart but even with the reduced price a cheap spring shotgun should be able to survive one game and about two dozen shells (720 bbs give or take).

For a gun that I got on sale it is far from the worst thing I have owned but I wouldn't recommend it at the full price.

"Had Immediate feeding issues and often jammed. After using for 4th time it critically jammed and could not be cleared with the rod. Turns out the small rubber bb detent that is supposed to stop the bbs from rolling out the barrel had come apart and become wedged in the barrel with a bb. the detents didn't stop the bbs from rolling out the barrel in the first place anyway but now the gun is useless with one destroyed. It is also terrible to disassemble for repair and there doesn't seem to parts available anywhere.

2 stars for decent pump quality and somewhat sturdy frame otherwise it would be 1 star for a quick break and terrible feeding.

"It wasn't a great gun. It was super inconsistent. At one point it would shoot one bb then it would shoot three then back to one then two. so it was a lot harder to use because I didn't know how many would come out and it made it harder to hit people.
I would not recommend this shotgun!
