"I got this today and i LOVE it so much. unlike so many other guns the battery is very easy to put in w/o fidgeting with something for five minutes. its very comfortable balanced and the cheek rest is at the perfect height for me. I realy like the adjustable fps because i can go from cqb to sniping with it thanks to the 550mm 6.01 tightbore that i have for it that goes all the way through the silencer i bought for it. it was a huge pain to get the flash hider off and i had to completly destory it in the process. the barrel was extremely easy to take out, it only took about 20 seconds but the new barrel i bought for it just barely wont fit in. ill probably sand it down later but for now im leaving the stock one in wich is a 6.04.

"I've used this gun twice all day at my local field in the last two weeks. I bought it because it was unique and that it definitely is. This thing is also a laser and by that I mean a dead accurate shot. However I noticed shortly into my first day using it at my local field that the trigger has a bit of an issue in semi automatic which is problematic because a lot of fields play semi only. The gun out of the box will not be capable of firing shots one after another in quick succession. To fix this I had to REMOVE THE BUT PLATE AND RAISE THE GEAR BOX EVER SO SLIGHTLY by inserting a piece of sponge. It took all day to figure out but I learned that all of these things(G&G F2000's) have the issue and that's a real simple fix for it. I also wanna stress how anyone looking into purchasing this gun should not by the hunter version as the scope it comes with while very cool is not practical for field use and if you decide to remove it and put on a different optic you will need to buy rail raisers as the rail system is lowered for the "hunter" scope. All in all, Any one who wishes to purchase this gun must understand to unlock its full potential this gone must under go small modification but is well worth the extra work as it is dead accurate and very unique

"I bought this replica a few weeks back, and now feel I have a solid understanding of it to leave a review.

When I first recieved this replica it functioned great! After a little while though the trigger started to stick and click, and the replica would not shoot until I switched to full auto, then back. Now it will not even shoot in semi anymore. Not sure if I got a lemon or what, but the replica is really cool, and when it worked, it really worked!

Pros:
Great weight! It feels like your actually holding something!
Very sleek and cool design, futuristic and just plain awesome.
Easy to adjust fps without deconstruction! It also has a quick change spring too!
Awesome sight! The sight is just perfect. Sighted in to about 35ish feet.

Cons:
The trigger stopped working properly on mine even though I have made no adjustments or changes to it.
Does not really like Lipos(Although this may fall under the above stated issue)
Very magazine picky. Will only take mostly G&G magazines.
Selector is VERY stiff! Not sure if it just needs worked in, but is very difficult to change fire selection on the fly.

All in all I am a huge fan of the fn2000, but I'm not sure about this replica. I just don't want to have to drop more money into it to get it to work properly considering it's already high price.

"I bought this gun about a week ago and immediately played with it for a full day, and here are my initial impressions:

PROS:

-This gun has an excellent weight to it (around 7.5 lbs). Admittedly, I was heavier than I expected when I first picked it up, but you should still have no problem carrying this around all day.

-It is very sturdy. The main body is composed of a single block of nylon fiber, and it is not something you have to be gentle with. As someone who is notoriously hard on gear, I am ever thankful for that.

-It is officially licensed by FN Herstal, the company that makes the real F2000. This means that it has all of the trademarks and details of the real thing, excepting the flash hider (which I will mention later).

-The scope that comes on the hunter version is fantastic. It has a clear sight picture and has a 3.5x magnification. Out of the box, it is pretty much sighted in. It might could use some fine-tuning, but I never touched it and it served me just fine. If yours is not, however, it can be adjusted by popping off the lid and twisting some knobs, just like with a normal rifle scope. If you happen to not like the scope, it is also very easily removable, and has standard rails underneath. Unless that $10 is a sentimental gift from your great-grandmother, there is no reason to not shell out for the hunter version, because the scope is well worth the money.

-Since it is a bullpup, it is more accurate than most guns its size, simply because the barrel can start further back in the gun.

-The screw on the back can dial muzzle velocity up and down within a certain window, making this a viable option for both CQ and midrange.

-I can reasonably assume that this gun is totally ambidextrous, just like the real one. Unfortunately I cannot confirm this, as I am not a leftie and neither are my airsofting friends.

-The gun feels great in your hands. I never felt any discomfort from the way the gun was shaped or weighted, and there isn't anything sharp for you to cut or pinch yourself on either.

-The barrel assembly is easily removable, simply by removing a small pin above the grip. Your entire inner barrel can be changed out without using any tools whatsoever.


CONS:

-The flash hider is an M4 birdcage style flash hider. As you probably know, that is not the flash hider that goes on a real F2000. For a $380 gun, especially one that is licensed by FN Herstal itself, that is a crying shame. In addition, the flash hider on my gun appears to have a large chip taken out of it straight from the box (roughly the size of my pinky fingertip). I'm not sure if that's intentional or not, but it still detracts from the aesthetics of the gun so I'm saying that's a con regardless.

-The butt plate is an absolute bear to remove. Flipping it halfway inside out and sliding it off is the only way to do it (and is the way listed in the manual) but I can't imagine that's good for the rubber. After only a day, a small rubber tab near the bottom of the plate's inside has almost completely torn off. It's probably insignificant and very possibly my own fault, but is disappointing nonetheless.

-The magwell is not closed off to the rest of the gun. This means that if bbs are loose in the magwell, they can and probably will work their way into the inner workings of the gun. This happened to me and a bb worked its way behind the trigger, making it impossible to fire the weapon. They also started to rattle around in the battery compartment, and I had to wrestle the butt plate off and take the upper receiver off to shake all of the bbs out.

-I had an issue with the hi-cap magazine that came with the gun where the loading door didn't close all the way. This, combined with the previously listed con, resulted in a rather unpleasant situation that took some effort to resolve. As of yet, I am unsure of whether something was wrong with the magazine itself or if it was my own fault.

-While we're talking about magazines, it is important to note that this gun WILL NOT TAKE STANDARD, UNMODIFIED MID-CAPS. You either have to buy G&G mid-caps, file down the ones you have, or use a hi-cap.

-The selective fire switch is fairly hard to turn, and a lot of times when you try to set it on semiauto, you will just skip right over it because of the force you have to apply to get it to move at all.

-The hop-up, while very easy to access, is hard to turn and is located fairly deep in the gun. This makes it difficult to adjust unless you remove the upper receiver and pull the inner barrel out.

-The lid of the scope is hard to put back into place, but with practice it shouldn't be much trouble.


I'M NOT SURE:

-The way full auto works is that you pull the trigger partway and it only fires once, then when you fully depress it, it begins to fire in full auto. This makes it easy to fire semiauto without switching the selective fire to semi, but it also causes you to have a long trigger pull when you actually want to fire in full auto. I'm not totally sure if I like that yet, but I don't necessarily dislike it either.

-The box tells you that it shoots 510. This was measured with .12 grams, and is misleading. I had the gun chronoed with .25 grams, and it was getting about 280. I have a hard time believing this having played with it for a day, and the guy was holding the chronograph in his hand so he may have been moving it a little causing an inaccurate reading. For this reason, I'm not listing it as a con.


TL;DR: This is a very solid gun in both construction and performance, and I would definitely recommend it.

"I purchased this gun as a red tagged item from the walk in store. It came with a minor cosmetic scratch on the serial number off to the side of the gun. That being said, because it was a red tagged item, the price I payed for it was significantly discounted (230). Considering this gun is not in production anymore, I consider myself very lucky to have my hands on this. That being said, I will try to be as critical as possible.

The gun itself is almost entirely polymer aside from the internals. It does not creak at all, so the polymer is definitely nice. Do not be fooled, the gun looks small, but it's pretty damn big. Compact, but big. Especially with the 400 round hi cap that comes with the gun, it is not small by any means. The mechbox is a version 6 full metal gearbox. It's surprisingly quiet and the trigger is surprisingly responsive. I do run an 11.1 lipo in the gun, however, so this is a big factor in terms of trigger response. The pull of the trigger isn't particularly light, but it does feature a dual stage trigger on the full auto setting (half pull for semi, full pull for full auto)

As this is the hunter version, it has the integrated optic in the upper receiver. This is actually removable, as the entire upper housing for the sight can be popped off with the press of a button. The integrated scope itself has the unique f2000 sight picture, but the optic itself isn't that amazing. It is adjustable for windage and elevation, but adjusting these knobs requires a flat head screw driver. It is not field adjustable without it. Beneath the optic is a standard rail segment, but it's polymer. You could mount a different optic if the hunter sight isn't to your liking. Another note for the optic is that the eye relief and sight picture are again, fairly small. Using the optic with a mesh lower mask or full face mask is actually very difficult due to how low the scope sits on the gun.

Other than that, the gun seems to perform very well. Shots are very consistent after zeroing and the hop up tunes nicely, albeit being rather stiff and difficult to turn (both a pro and a con). Flash hider is removable (14mm negative)

Summary:
If you're looking for a gun that isn't an M4 or an AK, and you're considering this gun, I will definitely say that it's a good gun. That being said, however, you could definitely get a similarly performing gun for a far better price point. Also, this gun isn't even in production anymore, even though Evike has it listed as "ETA November 2015" If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one for the pricepoint I found it at, I would definitely take the chance.

"This rifle is really awesome. I has amazing externals and some pretty good internals. But i do recommend some things to get with this rifle: matrix 9.6v 1600MaH small type battery, matrix .23g bb's, and either some elite force mid caps or king arms mid caps( does require some modifying but they do fit when modified and both magazines feed great in this rifle)

I have had mine for a while, and as of right now, the rifle is not feeding well at all( but like i said, this will end up happening with all airsoft rifles)
External upgrades are expensive(you have to have some money to run this rifle)
EXTREMELY hard to completely disassemble.




Other than the cons ive listed above, this gun is pretty solid, and has no "wobble" any where on the gun.

"I gave the gun a 4 star because mine doesnt shoot when I turn the FPS tuner (when you turn it the FPS slightly changes) the gun stops shooting.

"I recently bought this gun, i have to state a few things
1. This gun shoots beautifully and accurately
2. I chronoed it, with the adjustment all the way out, its shoots around 350fps, all the way in, it shoots 410
3. It is a nice feel and has some weight to it

two days after i received this gun, the mag release spring popped out due to the pmags that evike gave me for the $5 mag special, not that big of a deal and was easy to fix
the next day...
the trigger was pulling back too far on semi, preventing the gun from firing
idk if this is a common problem, but it ticked me off because i shouldn't be having issues with a gun i paid $360 for
i contacted evike and they were very helpful, but because i removed the flash hider, the warranty was voided, so im having it repaired at my local shop
other then the mishaps, its a good gun
im only giving a 4 because of the trigger issue, otherwise it would have a 5

"Internals:
A solid gun made by G&G. I gave it a 4/5 stars as it has a unique gearbox shell, which if it does break will render your gun useless. I am not worried about this too much though, it is a nice shell.
A cool feature is easily changing FPS via a screw under the butt-plate. With the stock spring you can change your FPS from 350 to 425 within 30 seconds.
The RPS is not amazing, approximately 15 with a 9.6V 1600 mAh NiMh battery. You could switch out the gears, spring, and motor, which I believe is a long-type, to achieve a higher ROF.
It also has a 6.04 Tight Bore Barrel installed stock, and it is 440mm long I believe. Allows great accuracy right out of the box.

Externals:
One word -- flawless. If you've ever held a real one, it feels basically identical. Weight is a bit different, but barely noticeable. The plastic is strong, and the metal isn't pot-metal.

Final Say:
G&G out-did themselves on this... and it makes the JLS look like ubercrap. Giving this a 4/5 due to the gearbox shell. Will be a five when you can buy it separately. Getting this for $360 is a steal... and if you apply Evike's other coupons it is even better.

"Had it for a while, didn't get to use it because of covid, went to show it off to co-workers and after a few feed issues from the Mag it came with the Mag Catch Spring falls out after trying to re-seat it.

Even if I fix it I can't trust it to hold a Mag now.

"Trigger is a nightmare out of the box. Would some times get stuck, to fix this I opened up the gear box and re greased the trigger slides which help quite a bit. As I was in there I flat hopped the gun and slapped in one of evikes high torque matrix motors (which are amazing) also, the page says the motor type is short, it's not, it's really a long. Thanks to that I have an extra titan motor laying around because evike wanted me to pay shipping for a return that shouldn't have needed to happen in the first place if the specs were correct. After getting everything together the gun was awesome, with a m120 and spring guide all the way forward I was pushing a .28 around 350, respectable, and around 19-20rps on an 11.1v. Now for the big problems. If something goes down on this gun you are stuck. After testing and playing around with it the full auto stopped functioning. I figured it was the micro switch probably not making full contact with the fire selector. I was half right, the micro switch contact that relays what position the fire selector is in was not functioning. I could activate it by pushing it with a needle and getting the gun to fire full auto but when in the gun it would not depress far enough so I was stuck in semi. I shimmed some stuff around and got it to work for a second, then it gave up the ghost again and went back to semi only, I tore it open again and not even manually pushing on it would get it out of semi auto. Now for the really bad part. Proprietary parts... almost everything on this gun is proprietary, hop up to the gear box to the trigger system. I cannot find that micro switch for sale any where. So all in all its a cool airsoft gun and unique, but because of some design flaws and Proprietary parts I can not recommend it to everyone.

"I've had this aeg for over a year now and feel like I can make a fair review. I'll start out with pros and cons

- not too back heavy for a bullpup
- solid external build
- definitely looks cool

- extreme trigger issues ( mostly on semi )
- only likes g&g hi caps

This rifle has been worked on by both evike and grizzly at tech star and still does not function on semi auto. The gun either have cycles or shoots in two round bursts. I'm in the Houston area in Texas and all fields require semi only unless your a support player. Rendering this gun useless. It's stock range with .3's is about 140ish feet and isn't all that accurate. I've also bought the new cyma f2000 and for half the price it has a faster rof, longer range, better accuracy, and it's trigger works as it should. The only thing the g&g has over it is it's build quality. If you want an FN2000 don't bother with this one, just get the cyma/cybergun
