"this gun is a good buy. tight bore barrel, light weight slide, and the lower rail attachment allows you to easily install a flashlight or laser. It chrono'd at about 320fps out of the box. I added the angel hi flow valves and now it shoots 345 fps.

"This is my first gbb pistol and I couldn't be more impressed about it.
Pros: clean, crisp action
slight trigger pull
Cons: Takes a lot of gas to fire an entire mag of 30 rounds

"Alright, so I have had this gun (the gen1) for about 2 and a half years now. I have abused the hell out of it and its still going strong. I absolutely love the thing. I have cracked the outer barrel while in play (totally my fault) and the thing kept going. Its a beast. I use it in field and cqb, from backyard games to milsim this is an amazing side arm. If you are new to gbbs buy this. I have nothing but praise for this pistol and when I finally kill mine I plan on buying another

"This is one of the best investments of my airsoft "career." My most memorable moment with this weapon is when I hit two people roughly 20 yards away, a kid on my team was excited about how it sounded, then, when I exchanged into an extended mag, he said something very profane. I thought it was funny. This pistol has come very close to replacing my p90 in the cqb.

I would recommend an extended clip because A. it looks awesome and B. 50 rounds in a pistol is pretty amazing.

"Iv had this gun for going on two years now. Still works like a charm and the best gas pistol iv ever owned. It has its up and downs but overall a great secondary if S hits the fan.
Cons:
Mag lips break really easy, but there sold separately on here.
Hard gas hog. (shoots about 15/30 before mag runs out of gas. easier to only load 15)
After a while stops locking back when the clips empty (mine did at least)
Hop up might need replaced after a year
Pros:
Scary loud and looking
Great for CQB
extremely durable
Accurate
Kicks hard
Very customizable
Heavy (con or pro)
Unique (No one else is going to have this trust me, if the do show some respect)
overall good gun and not a bad idea to upgrade

"Got mine in the mail today, and already I'm thoroughly impressed. The weight is (in my opinion) perfect, it's heavy, with a light trigger pull and a crisp action. What I must say I like the most is the inner barrel, it's not a cheap looking brass barrel, (like the original in my 4.3), it's blue, looks like aluminum, and I really think its a tighter bore also. I did a little bit of playing around earlier and it seems to have close to the same fps, (no chrono yet), and more kick than my 4.3 with a 235mm 6.03 black python v.2 inner barrel. My only complaint is not of this gun in particular, but the pistol grip that WE uses, just means I need to get another Tanio Koba.

holds 30 bb's but I'd prefer a more realistic count so I put 17 in.
good on gas, mag can be a pain to load but I've seen worse.
all in all, it's definitely a cool pistol and I'd recommend it.

"For me i love this gun. it has a good kick, i like it how it was design. if i was you, i will go buy it.

"OK, here's my 100% honest review:
I bought the WE-Tech Hi-Capa T-Rex Competition Pistol (Model: 5.1 / Silver w/ Maple Leaf Upgrade Suite) version of this gun and it shoots decent for what it is. At 60ft (20yrds) I've got it dialed in and shooting 5"- 6" groupings using .28's shooting at an indoor range, no wind to contend with. The thing is, I've also got the exact same identical W.E. hi capa gun accept in black color and WITHOUT the maple leaf upgrade and its shooting the same groupings at that range. If I had it to do all over again, I'd skip the maple leaf upgrade version and just get the non maple leaf version and save some $ because either one shoots the same. Here's an FYI for you though. At the same time I ordered this pistol I also ordered a TM hi capa 5.1 with no mods whatsoever and out of the box it consistently shoots 3" groupings at 60ft with the same .28 bbs!
