"This gun is very well built and the range you can get with it is very surprising for the small barrel that it has. The small type 9.6V NiMH rechargeable battery that is recommended with the gun lasts most of the day but if you get two then you don't have to worry. All the internals and externals are great and feel very sturdy. If you get the battery that is recommended with the gun get a large to small adapter because the gun has large type wiring.
If you are looking for a SMG get this one!!

"Great gun. Accuracy is on point and it has a very solid feel to it. On full auto this thing is a beast and sounds like one. No problems so far. Definitely need to get sights for it and it sucks that you have to take it apart to put on the grip it comes with but other than that it was a great buy. I highly recommend it and will be updating review after a few more uses and once I get a look at internals.

"This is a great gun. Its externals are great, its range and accuracy are incredible, and it comes with some pretty cool trades as well. It has a great RPM and shoots at a perfect 330 fps for CQB. The functioning charging handle and pneumatic blowback are nice, and the stock hop-up is simply amazing. This gun is unbelievably sturdy; I would trust this gun to support my body weight.

I would definitely recommend this gun to anybody looking for a great CQB primary. You won't regret buying this gun.

"Absolutely amazing, the only problem I've got with this is the rear sling mount point on the stock, it is very shallow other than that it is a dream. I'd highly recommend this as both an airsofter and as an mp5 enthusiast. it can take both the large type battery and small type (adapter included) words do not do this gun justice. if you are looking for an airsoft gun then look no further, if you are looking for a realistic replica it is a piece of art. And truly a masterpiece in both worlds.

"I got this gun in an Evike Box of awesomeness, so i did not pay full price.

FOR ANYONE WITH AN MP5: They take stick type batteries. You may or may not know that to install the battery you have to take the stock off, put it in, take the grip off, plug in the battery, then adjust everything to fit, put the grip back on, then the stock, and finally your ready to shoot. WAY TOO MUCH TIME.

So i came up with a quick solution: I cut the positive wire, put an extension on it and then wired the connector up and out of the bolt opening. So I just put a PEQ box on the top rail and now i can use any battery of any size and it take 5 seconds to swap instead of 5 minutes. No more wasted time, and no need to purchase stick batteries if you own none.

stupid stick batteries fit super tight and takes 5 minutes to put in (can easily re-wire to a PEQ box with some tech experience)
stock has tiny bit of wobble (not a problem for me at all)
can never put a silencer or flash hider/extended inner barrel (who cares its 1 of a kind)
can't really put your hand all the way around the grip when stock is folded. mine gets pinched
have to take front grip off to adjust hop up (as with every mp5)
stock clip is around a 80 rd high cap (get more)

OVERALL this gun is sick. The pros easily outweigh the minor cons, and some can be fixed. Since i got this in a BOA i am extremely satisfied once again. THANKS EVIKE!

"Awesome gun, first airsoft gun I've ever bought. The battery fit is really tight. (I leave the battery in the gun to charge) I agree with Steven G. I was surprised that the gun came with a battery and charger. The gun is quite heavy to be honest, but that's what I bought it for is the real feel. All in all a great buy.

"This is a great little gun. Some of the reviews seem a bit off, so I'll try best I can to clear some stuff up. It is a heavy gun. I believe it's right at 5-6 lbs. There IS an adjustable hop-up on the gun. It's a tab located under the front foregrip covering. The rear sling adapter is full metal and as far as I can tell a full loop. I can't forsee any problems from a sling slipping out.

My gun chrono'd right at 300 fps with .25 BBs. This is an outstanding gun for CQB settings. The range is not too impressive but it spits out BBs at a decent rate. The magazine well fits as well as any other MP5 magazine well I've seen. The battery slides in through the top from the back. It ends up blocking the cocking lever from coming back once it's in. It is a slight pain to change since you have to take out several pins, so don't expect to easily field change the battery.

All in all, it's a solid gun. No rattling (other than mags which is common and fixable with electric tape) or loose pieces. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a CQB weapon or full auto sidearm. Just be wary of the weight, which I prefer over a light gun.

"This gun is amazing. It is mostly metal. Even the ABS lower receiver it is very durable and feels metal. It shoots great! :) I do recommend a better battery. I ordered a cheap 8.4v by matrix and it did make a small difference. Perfect for someone new to airsoft & knows they will stay in the sport.

"It is a very good gun. It does not do extreemly well for field but it is proficent, get an extra battery and mag. when you get the gun cuz it needs 'em for a lot of playing.
i got a tight bore and mock suppresor on it and looks great!
