"This mag is pretty good. The only problems I have with it are it sometimes doesn't feed correctly and the slide sometimes doesn't lock back when the mag is empty, making me waste co2. Overall I think that this mag is pretty good.

"Just as described. The bb push rod is plastic so the gun will eat the slide catch just like it does for the original magazine. They should replace it with a metal one to prevent this.

"I recently purchased this magazine and just like the other reviewers, I recieved a mag with a slant cut in the part that holds the mag in place. I filed the top of the piece to get rid of the slant and to make it somewhat symmetrical. This was a fairly quick fix but it was still annoyed to see that elite force hasn't solved this problem yet because without modification this magazine is unusable. I can usually run around 60-70 bbs before the c02 cartridge needs to be replaced. Always be careful when loading the the c02 because you can strip the threads on the mag.

"I bought two of these extended mags, no valve leakage whatsoever, but piece that is tightened with the allen key was wonky on BOTH mags they were cut at angle making it nearly impossible to consistently seat the CO2 cartridges. So, Dremel to the rescue flattened the tops of both allen studs and presto! No probs at all.

"Bought two of these magazines hoping the quality would reflect the price. That is apparently not the case. The first magazine performs fine but the second had terrible CO2 leak when tested after opening the package. I tested with 4 different CO2 cartridges but still had the consistent leak. Based on reading other reviews as well, quality control is is an issue here. Gave 3/5 stars since one magazine worked at least.

"It shot great for about a month or two of getting it but recently when the magazine is empty it does not want to lock in place due to an empty magazine, I tried cocking it with the normal magazine that comes with it and it works flawlessly. But then i go back to the extended magazine and it acts as if theres ammo in the chamber and does not work properly.

"I ordered one of these for my elite force 1911 tactical and it seemed to have some sort of malfunction. It was not loading the bbs correctly into the gun. So I sent an RMA request and I was very happy to see how polite and helpful the staff was. I returned it and got it back for store credit, I will be ordering another one shortly and I hope it is not a defective product.

"I got this magazine for the gun it was intended for , the 100th anniversary addition 1991A1. It works great, except one complaint. It's really difficult to get in and out of the gun. My 12 year old brother has lots of difficulty getting it out. For it to work, you really have to slam it into the gun. But besides that, it does what it claims to do, hold 27 rounds instead if 16-17. Can't compare to the elite force 1911 extended mag, because I've never tried it.

"I also developed a problem with an uneven fit between the cartridge and the bolt that threads in and holds it. When I turn the bolt, the cartridge gets tilted and rotates unevenly, spilling all the CO2. I filed the outer surface of the contact area flat, but it is concave in the center and the curve itself is uneven. I guess if I had better tools I could drill it out, but I shouldn't have too. It worked well for a while, so I guess maybe the metal of the bolt wore a bit and reached a point of no return? I was happy with it up to that point. I have several of the regular magazines and they keep right on going, so I'm kind of disappointed overall.

"I have had this product for about 3 months and have made sure to treat it properly, yet the bottom of the co2 compartment has gotten shaven down on one side somehow, and it no longer allows the co2 to properly sit. And thus, I can no longer use it. I will try to fix the problem, but the material must not be too great if it can easily wear.

"It does everything alright, except the mag is inconsistent with the slide lock. When the magazine is out of ammo, it doesn't hold the slide out, making me dry fire quite a bit.

"This mag works and the round count is nice compared to the stock one. Unfortunately it leakes co2 terribly. If you are really careful you can tighten it to a gentle hiss but that is rare. I waisted 5 co2 cartridges before I got one to only slowly leak. I dont think I got a lemon either because I've seen other people say the same thing in reviews. I really wish it worked. I'd pay twice as much for one that was flawless. I hate paying for junk. I'm not sure it's even usable in a skirmish because its constantly leaking. Buy at your own risk.

"The slant on the allen key that you tighten to puncture the co2 makes the magazine unusable without modification. I used a drill and a 3/8 inch drill bit to flatten the slant. It solved the problem and was a real pain but it's the only way it'l fix it. Or a rotary grinder and flatten it that way. I'm happy happy that my co2 cartridge doesn't protrude when I tighten the screw.

Great Clip, Terrible allen screw.
