Colt 100th Anniversary Licensed Full Metal M1911 A1 Airsoft CO2 GBB by KWC (Version: 350 FPS Version)

"After all these years, I finally had the courage to purchase this gun, and let me tell you. It is the best airsoft gbb pistol you can buy for the price. It's a classic gun and you will not regret the looks of it. The recoil is awesome and shoots really hot. The first shot of every CO2 cartridge is usually over 400 FPS and will hang around 350 FPS until at least the 3rd or 4th magazine. I am able to shoot 6 magazines loaded with 12 .20 grams 6mm BBs before the CO2 cartridge is dispersed. Although the magazine can hold 17 BBs (as advertised) I recommend not loading anything past 14 or 15. I've been using .20 gram BBs, but I think the gun shoots too hot for such a light round, BBs tend to curve upwards at about 30ft even with the hop-up on the lowest setting. This could be just my airsoft pistol, but I recommend shooting at least .25 gram to .30 gram bbs.

"Great pistol and especially for the price. I have the 380 fps version.
I have had no issues with the function of this weapon. I have dropped it several times in the mud and dirt, no issues.
Velocity is consistent at 370 fps for about 4 standard length mags then starts to trail off. I normally run through 4 reloads before switching the CO2.

Read the other reviews for pros and cons they are pretty much the same as mine.
I will add that the recoil is better than other gbb pistols I have shot in this price range.
It does have a little recoil so rapid fire will make your shots spread out. For me, that's the best part about it. Comparable to a semi-auto 22LR.

"If you're looking for a reliable secondary on the field or just want to relive history, this airsoft gun is just for you. Its feels and looks like the real thing. (ignoring the orange tip) The gun's accuracy and overall performance is solid and has few if any flaws. I've had it for around 6 months now and it has never let me down in the field or at home on the range. For not even $100 its more than worth its price.

PROS:

CONS:
-Mags are quite pricey
-If you're a nail bitter like me, the spring on the mags are difficult to hold down.

Other than that sole reason, or two if you're a nail bitter, this is a great gun overall and I recommend adding it to your collection.

"I had a rough day the first time I used this thing. Managed to forget my holster and had it tucked into my belt. My local airsoft facility has exactly 1 staircase in the whole darn place. Before this gun saw any action it fell out of my belt at the top of the stairs and tumbled, klinking and clacking all the way down the concrete stairs. The orange tip was scraped, the magazine was locked in the gun and wouldn't release, and my perfect, brand new weapon was given lots of... character.

Picked it up, fiddled with it a sec, and shot every round it had no problem. Scrapes and scratches are minimal because this thing is full metal. Slide is still great, and about 15 magazine uses later, still works perfectly.

"This 1911 is so close in design and feel to my real 1911 that it could fool some people. Shoots fantastic and the blow-back feels nice.

One note that I have not yet worked out, the loading of the BB's take effort, especially if you don't have fingernails. I am looking for a solution from EVIKE or may design a quick loader myself.

-The full metal body makes it very durable
-Feels like the real thing

Cons:
-Slightly heavy if you're use to handling firearms
-Metal may rub off in your hands for the first few days. But that is just from it being new/unused
-Blow back may have some recoil, but its manageable

Overall this is a great purchase, and I strongly suggest getting this classic handgun.

"This gun is amazing! I've been using it for about 4 months, and its awesome.

Pros:
Good fire rate

easy to use
fits in hand nicely
easy to reload quickly
gas efficient for a blowback

Cons:
Not super accurate (still pretty accurate tho)
occasionally jams (not very often, and simply racking the slide fixes it)

"I bought this a few weeks back. I am impressed by the weight and the feel of this gun. Its smooth to use and has a pretty nice range overall. The extended mags are great and it fed well. Overall this fun is amazing for a sidearm. If you want that Colt M11911 feel. This is the gun for you. The only downside is that the barrel isnt threaded.

"I bought this pistol considering I love colt models. This is also the first airsoft gun i bought in about ten years so iv been out of the game for awhile. I think as a CO2 pistol this is fun and easy to operate for any airsoft player. I was a little confused on how to reload the co2 but quickly figured it out. It has a nice satisfying crack and defidently goes far. However i would recommend .28 or .30 for the 380 fps model. Over all this gun works and feels great. I would recommend.

"I bought mine back in 2014 and while I've had a bumpy airsoft experience, this gun has stayed by my side through the thick and thin. Almost unbreakable, I've only had to clean it out thoroughly once or twice.

Magazines are extremely expensive for a pistol.
The bottom of the gun, near the magazine, has a lanyard that was not present in the original model. While this is extremely nitpicky, it is noticeable.
