Modify Baton Ryusoku Flat Hopup Bucking for Airsoft AEGs (Model: Hard)

"I bought the soft model to go into my Echo 1 MP5-J. The fit was pretty snug so definitely take your time putting it into the hop up. The nub is pretty good.

My gun stock runs about 120-150 feet effective range. With this bucking and nub I can go a little more 250 feet total range with .25g EF bio-BBs. I think if I were to hop a .28g or heavier and put a little more spin on it I can reach out further. However my goal was to go beyond 200 feet as a gun that can operate in indoor/CQB and outdoor fields. My FPS was more consistent as it went down from a 5 +/- FPS swing to

"This is a great product! I run it in a madbull hopup unit and it works perfectly! I run a polarstar fusion engine and had no problems with it making a good air seal. I have also used .32 gram bbs with this bucking and got superb performance! i wash shooting well over 150ft accuratly at 1.5 joules

"Haven't run it long, so I cannot comment on durability, but I am in love with this bucking. It is simply a bucking without the nub on the inside. I would recommend this over modifying a normal bucking as you do not risk weakening it and do not need to use an eraser for the flat nub. It also allows you to retain the alignment rib on the inside. Works great and along with a cnc hop up unit increased my accuracy by a long shot. My groupings were cut in half at 50 feet, and I tested it on a windy day.

"it has been an excellent bucking so far. I have used it with the nub it came with and my madbull 6.01 ak74 barrel and I have had excellent results with my cqb gun. I definitely noticed a huge accuracy increase. The feedlips on the bucking are a little long just sand it off with a dremel or something if you get issues feeding during the trouble shoot of hop-up.

The bucking does feel a little soft so be careful if youre shooting of 390 fps you are probably going to tare the bucking or if you have a high rps since the feedlips are long.

Over all for my purposes this is an excellent bucking

"These are awesome. I will not use anything but a flat hop setup, all others are crap in comparison. You must use the FLAT nub that comes with it or some other FLAT nub. I hear people say they use regular stock nubs or H nubs with this bucking. That's a waste of time.... Use a FLAT nub with the FLAT bucking if you want to FLAT-HOP your gun...

"If you don't want to deal with all of the DIY(do it yourself) crap in regards to crudely fashioning your own Flat-Hop... Just get this. For 14 bucks... it's manufactured pretty much perfect. I'm running a DMR with about 600FPS and I have it flat hopped with a Madbull new version Python II or whatever it's called... getting some extreme distance and the spread is absolutely minimized.

Buy this, you won't regret it. All other Hop Ups aside from R-Hop just don't compare.

"I have this in my 380 fps m4 with a prowin, flat hop, and standard 363mm barrel. I love it! I use EF .28g bbs and with hop set at completely straight, no extra "bump", I can consistantly hit 185 ft. Usually I set the hop a little bit up and I can get 200 easy. The thing I have found with this set up is that you want to have a "non-sensitive hop up", like the prowin. Ak hop ups are good, According to my friend. Definitely a must have, if you cannot install an rhop or dont have the money to get someone to do it. I dont have the skills.

"So I have had some good experience with this flat hop set. It comes with a flat bucking (no mound in the rubber, just a smooth bore) and it also comes with a flat hop nub. The flat nub gives a larger surface area of contact to the bucking, which in turn gives a larger contact on the BB. The contact on the BB is extended and flat for very even contact and consistent hop on the BB. The larger contact to the BB gives it more hop over a longer distance, and gives it a straighter, longer trajectory. If you watch Amped Airsoft's flat hop install video, you see that they show a Prometheus purple bucking and a Namazu flat nub. This is pretty much a lot like that setup but you don't need to mod the bucking and cut down the nub. You just slide the bucking over your barrel and drop the flat nub on the hop arm. Your range increases and paired with a tight bore your accuracy increases. I suggest a Pro Win hop chamber because with all of this more hop, one small adjustment can way over hop the BB and I have even had BBs jam from over hop. Try not to use a standard 3 gear chamber on this because your settings will drop and stuff will go wrong. But if you have a good chamber and you install this correctly, you will be very happy with the results. After getting this, I never want to use stock hop up ever again!

You have to get used to the very minute hop up settings, one smal change can go from BBs dropping to way over hopping. You really should get a Pro Win hop up chamber along with this.

"Picked one of these up on a whim to replace the notoriously iffy CYMA hop up bucking in my RPK. I am extremely pleased to say that this unit is a great combo. Groupings were quite consistent and after some extended fiddling to get the right amount of hop I was very pleased with this purchase. Was actually hopping to see them in stock still to try out on a higher FPS DMR build but oh well.

Overall, a great purchase. The price is low and unlike the Prometheus flat hop bucking this actually comes with a flat nub to go with it.
