"I just want to start by saying this gun is FLAWLESS. It is full metal and is very comfortable. It uses STANAG mags so you get the mags of an M4 without just being another guy on the field with an M4. It is 100% worth the money and im glad i got it

Pros: I could go on and on here
Full Metal
Amazing gearbox(Built by VFC)
VFC's self shimming gears
Amazing ROF
Good FPS
Looks great
Uses STANAG mags
BUILT TO LAST

Cons: Nothin to put here other than maybe a recommendation for Echo1. It would be sick if this baby was blowback. Doesnt effect the gun at all but I just wanted to say it. Other than that, there is literally no con other than the fact that you are busy reading this and not BUYING THE GUN!!!

"i purchased this gun about a month ago and let me say it has preformed way better then i expected, its very accurate and has a decent rate of fire, (you can easily hit someone at 120ft plus). the crack in the body on the pictures is not there. the stock will loosen up after awhile but is very easy to retighten. now for a pros and cons list:

pros:

good weight
good fps ( around 350-360)
very accurate
very sturdy
included a 9.6 two mags and a grip
very sleek looking

cons:
stock loosens
external parts cant be exchanged very easily
theres these pugs in the front of the stock that will fallout
the bolt is on the wrong side for me
semi will jam up occasionally but can be fixed by switching to full

overall i would give this gun 10/10 because the problems are all preferences or are very minor, i would buy this gun again in a heart beat. i highly recommend this to any one looking for a good fun gun to shoot.

"It's in Desert now?!

Anyway, I purchased it's black equal back in 2010. And let me tell you, This gun can take on any other High performance AEG and, hold it's own.
Pros: Great fps out of the box.
It can take a beating.
If your Scope, Flashlight, Grip, Grenade launcher can connect to a rail system you will not miss out on them with this AEG.
This gun is by far the easiest AEG I have ever had a pleasure to work on.
Con: Fold stock was a little wobbly out of the box but as said before, it's crazy easy to break down and tightened so it was no problem.
Male plug out of the front end for the P.E.Q battery was un-clipped. But nothing a wire switch couldn't happen.
Other then those Nothing...Nothing at all.

"First let me start with the fact that I really like this gun. Do not be afraid of the polymer as it it done very well and does not feel cheap in the hand. The weight is perfect and it looks much cooler than your run of the mill M4 variants. This thing with a short mock suppressor looks sick. I would have loved to have carried one of these while I was in the Marine Corps.
Now for the bad which is far out weighed by the good. The gun came out of the box with the buffer tube spanner nut loose. The stickers on the stock do not come off easily. Now for my biggest gripe, the gun in the picture has a black pistol grip but the gun that came has a FDE grip like the older ones. I absolutely HATE the FDE grip that I got stuck with. I want a black grip EVIKE!
All in all this gun is very impressive and worth taking a look at.
1) Shoots hard out of the box
2) Very accurate for such a short weapon
3) Comes with everything you need to get started minus sights
4) Looks cooler than everyone else's M4

"This is a good beginners gun; lightweight and has a good RoF. Good gun to buy it you want something that's not an m4 but will still take m4 parts and mags.
Pros:
Not that expensive
Not an m4
Light weight
High RoF with a 9.4v battery that came with the gun
Compact
Good amount of rail space
Some trademarks
Mine came with a grip and 2 mags, battery and a charger (don't use the charger)

Cons:
Polymer not as strong as I thought it would be (not as strong as combat machine polymer)
Bad accuracy at long distances when full auto (get a miracle barrel?)
Doesn't come with iron sights (not too big of a con for me)
Paint chips off easily
Charging handle squeaks a bit after you play around with it for a while. (Minor con)

Overall a great beginners gun.

"This was my first AEG, however, I've been playing for about 5 years now. I've had it for about a 9 months now, but I didn't use it during the winter because we don't have any places indoors and it can get to -40 Fahrenheit up here in Michigan. I think I've got about 30k rounds through this thing though. It's a great gun, but I've had a few problems with it.

First problem isn't all that important, but it still annoys me. The spring for the charging handle came out somehow and I've spent about 3 hours trying to get it in there so the slide works properly, but I haven't had any luck. The dust cover can slide back and forth freely and makes a noise that can give away one's position.

The second problem was that the little caps in the stock fell off, so I have to use electrical tape to keep the battery from peeking out. Due to this, I'm having a wire problem where the gun's battery connectors are all bent and I can't bend them back in place right now. It sucks because I like this gun and now I can't flippin use it!

I didn't notice that there are no sights for the gun, so I had to just use the rails for the first couple weeks with it. I don't like the foregrip it comes with, so I got a replacement. I haven't had any troubles with the mags and the battery is pretty nice too. I might add that it's larger than other butterfly batteries though. No idea why.

My favorite thing about this gun is the slight kick you get when it shoots. It just feels so good. ROF is nice and the FPS is about 320 with .25 grams. Another thing I just remembered is that it will lock up if you're shooting it on semi auto after a while. The stock seems to keep losening itself, even after I tighten it up with a screwdriver in the buffer tube.

All in all, It's a nice gun, my advice is to not mess with the charging handle and to not lose those caps in the stock as they will prevent problems later on. Solid weapon.

"This weapons build quality is fantastic for intermediate airsofters, or a couple rounds of close quarters battles. As a stock weapon, it performs alright, the only real issues being the fact that it has no iron-sights. Looks awesome, but the battery is a piece of junk. I have already upgraded to a Li-po and i am not disappointed. Happy shooting!

"This is a good gun but after 2 months the trigger contact fried. It shoots about 370 at 17 rps
by Jason M. on 04/28/2014
"I bought this gun about 6 months ago and I'm in love with it. The gun itself feels so solid when you shoot it and its a nice polymer build. The battery that came with the gun wasnt too bad but it wasn't the best either. Also my gun came with a faulty hop up which made it shoot a little bit down even after its been tweaked. im sure this isnt a problem with all the XCRs but im just throwing that out there. Other than that this gun is AMAZING!!!
