"Received in about 5 days. Which is awesome.
Pros-
- lightweight
- looks cool
-easy to take apart
-quick change spring
Cons
-accuracy inconsistency if your an outdoor air softer
-not much for battery room. Id recommend a 7.4 Lipo.
- plastic isn't magpul acr quality( it seems an ok plastic)
- gearbox has a little play. Tilts forward and back and I'm not sure if it effects the performance as far as air seal and such.
- the short magazine won't stay in the magwell. I can easily force it out. Gg mags and the long mag it comes with stays in.

I think it's worth it. Just will need to put some upgrades.
I'm putting a smp into so most of the issues won't matter. The battery required to make it function is about the size of a tic tac container.

"I have had this gun for a full year before the trigger selector broke... The UAR still works, the place I went to repair it did not do such a good job (local Miami place). In order to fully repair the trigger selector I would have had to spend the same amount that I did to purchase it, to repair it.

All and all... this is a great gun, while it was running, I never had a complain... it was light weight, small and compact for CQB, but it had the range for a field, even without swapping out the "long range spring" it came with. Which was easy to do... Even adding a new muzzle was easy.

"This gun is reliable, I left it outside all winter in the freezing cold and it still works!

The range is great too!

However, the mags that come with the gun do not work, however, m4 mags work great!

Also, you need a red dot sight, since you need to aim!

"This gun is awesome.
PROS:
-Very easy to hold and aim
-Good Accuracy
-Good trigger system
-Compatible with M4 mags
CONS:
-Battery runs out quickly, especially on full auto
-Not enough battery space

"This gun is really good for intermedanats. The only cons are the mags from your other gun (m4,ak47,ext.), the place you put your battery is really small so you can not put many different types of bateries in the gun.

"I've had this one for about 5 months now and let me tell ya, possibly the best CQB platforms on the market. The compact design lets me move through tight spaces and get around corners with out sticking the muzzle out so an enemy can see it. It's very lightweight and the multiple mag release points help out when I need to reload on my weak hand. I had a decent ROF right out of the box but I personally wanted more. So far the upgrades I've done are a high torque motor, 13:1 gears, new piston and a standard M4 length inner barrel. The stock inner barrel is a little bit shorter than a standard M4 inner barrel, so you'll need to get a silencer if you do what I did. The biggest down fall to it is the magazine compatibility. So far, most of my high-caps will fit and the only mid-caps that I found that will fit are the magpul PTS PMAG which go for about $32 a pop. As far as everyone saying that the battery space is limited and that you can only use 8.4V stick type batteries is a lie. If you're patient enough and have a PEQ battery box, you can actually push the connector out of the little slits on the top rail and connect it on the outside. Also, since it doesn't have sights already attached, you're gonna need to get a red dot or something of that nature.

Pros:
Compact Design
Very Light Weight
Multiple Sling Adapter Points
Multiple Mag Release Points
Very Sturdy
Extreamly Lefty Friendly
Quick Spring Change

Cons:
Piston Strips Easily (I probably got a lemon)
Only Likes Certain Mags
Trigger Pull Is Very Long
It Goes Safe, Full Auto, Semi (Can possibly cause confusion)
Selector Switch Doesn't "Lock" Into Place.
Awkward Feeling Switching From Semi To Full Auto.

Overall I absolutely love this thing and will not trade it for anything. It's one of the most unique guns on the market, works good at field games and dominates at CQB. This thing will definitely catch the eyes of your teammates and strike fear into your enemy's soul.

"I am picky about my airsoft guns and all my stuff is KWA brand, but I must say that this is up there. The plastic is by no means cheap and feels very durable and solid. It is nice how it comes with an extra mag and spring, and is incredibly simple to take apart. One of the best things is how it feels ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in your hands. Definitely a good buy and this will not disappoint.

I will also address the mag issue: Yes, it is very picky. I tried my KWA 120 rd mid-caps and they wobbled a little bit. However, mid-caps should feed fine if you just push the mag into the gun a little bit.

PROS:
-solid construction
-2 mags
-extra spring
-compact

CONS:
-picky about magazines
-no sights
-battery compartment is a tight squeeze for wiring

"I got this gun about a month ago and i am pretty impressed. I used it a few times at my local airsoft place. I am very glad I got it. But if you are thinking of getting it wait till it goes on sale. It is not worth $205 but it is very nice. I could not tell what spring was higher power but after testing it is the one that comes in its own package. Get a nice red dot for it, it will pay off. Also a for grip. But all in all a great gun that preforms and looks awesome.
Pros.
*full polymer construction and very nice metal internals.
*nice range.
* normal fps (small spring=345fps Large spring=375fps)

Cons.
*really tough to find mags
* ONLY RUN 25'S THREW IT!!!!!!!
* Low rate of fire.
* No battery included.

"After seeing this gun for as low as 135$ on black friday I couldn't pass it up. First of all, this will be my second AEG, my first being a cheapo 90$ AEG that I needed to replace. I couldn't have gotten a better upgrade. The gun feels pretty solid, no creaks, or squels in the plastic that I have noticed; the only gripe I have about the body is that there is a visible seam down the center of the gun on the top, which aesthetically is pretty poor but none the less it's no big deal - I don't think the gun will fall apart on you. The internals are also pretty decent, everything inside is full metal, and they didn't really skimp out on internals too much. Notice the "too much" the one main thing they did skimp out on was the motor, it is a pretty terrible motor to be honest. With a 9.6v Ni-Mh I was getting about 11RPS. Other than that the internals are pretty good and don't need an upgrade. Oh! One of the best things that comes with this gun is the barrel, you have a 385MM tight bore 6.03 stock barrel - in my tests I've hit targets up to about 125ft but after that the bb's kind of drift off. This barrel is perfect, no upgrades needed as far as CQB goes - the only thing it needs is a definite cleaning as when I got the gun the barrel was filthy and bb's kept jamming. One of the biggest problems I've honestly had with the gun so far is probably the removal of the orange tip. Online I looked at videos and watched and watched, even the evike video reviews on this gun and the stock flash hider that they all had was a black metal flash hider with a small orange ring ( 1/4 inch ) at the end. My gun came with a flaming orange cheap plastic tip that was glued on with more glue than I've ever seen. It required me to get the tip to over 150 degrees for the thing to actually move. After about an hour or so I finally got it off with some pliers and a wrench. Luckily APS gives the full metal black flash hider with the gun ( so atleast they expect you to remove the orange ) Overall this gun is great, the accuracy is decent for what I needed ( CQB 75-100ft MAX ), the price is pretty good ( better when it's on sale ), and the gun is decently upgraded and can be used stock and preform well.

Oh yeah! The gun comes with two springs, an equivalent M100 Spring, and an M120 Spring. The M100 shoots pretty hot for CQB when I chronoed it, about 360 was the average give or take a few. The M120 consistently hit 409-411. So if you're using this gun for CQB I would reccomend buying an M90 spring or even an M80 just to be safe.

"Out of the box, I was amazed. I played with it that night. It was a cool little gun -- Great for CQB and mid range fights. Unfortunately, like many UAR owners, I had a good amount of problems with the gearbox and general construction.

My 4th time using it, it just wouldn't fire. It'd just click like the battery was dead. I found it was a problem with the trigger contacts. I cleaned them and bent them back into place, but an hour later it stopped firing again. This time, I just poked the gearbox and it worked. I put the gearbox back in and the arm on the selector switch broke. Now, its stuck in Full auto and I have to just tap fire. Luckily, the gun has its own safety other than the one on the gearbox, near the trigger.

Pros:
Lightweight -- back heavy, but its fine on your shoulder.
Free spring ugrade.
Awesome cosmetic design.
SUPER comfirtable maneuverable.

Cons:
Not a tank -- take care of it like a mentally deficient child.
Awkward weighting at first
Cheap -- everything is cheaply done, just thrown together so APS can make a quick buck.

Its a great CQB weapon, I just wish APS spent more designing it and did more homework. I wouldnt mind paying $250 for a tank with reliable internals.

"Before I start by listing my issues with this gun I would like to start with the pros. I like the look and feel of this gun, its unique and you don't see everyone carrying this around when you meet other people at airsoft events. I like the fact it is a bull pup rifle, although it is built for cqb it can be utilized for taking on farther targets. I like the simplicity of removing the spring to change the fps limit. Not lets list some cons I have, I had this gun for about a month before the motor stopped working. I read so many comments about how well his gun works and I am very disappointed by the fact that it now occupies a corner of my house collecting dust. I loved this gun when it was working but hopefully I can get it fixed soon......

"I bought this gun about two weeks ago. The gun is clearly back heavy, but thats to be expected from a bullpup designed gun so don't be surprised. The weight is fine when shouldered. The biggest complaint that I have is it's battery situation. Many videos show it using a stick type battery that is inserted below the top rail, this is not the case. The battery compartment is in the stock and it is tiny. My small type, 8.4v battery bairly fits and any stick type won't at all. I don't have any concerns with it's construction so far, nothing broke out of the box. I also haven't gotten the chance to shoot it yet, but other video reviews show it holding up pretty well. Overall, pretty good gun for the price.

Pros
- Two hi-cap mags included (each holds 150 rounds)
- Upgrade spring is a bonus as well. A spring for CQB and one for outdoor play.
- Bullpup design offers longer inner barrle than my m4 for a smaller profile.
- Accepts standard m4 mags. No need to buy new ones if your transfering from an m4 platform like me.

Cons
- Small battery compartment in the STOCK. Can't fit anything larger than an 8.4v small type for size comparison. This is my biggest critique
- Back heavy (not a huge deal).

Final Thoughts

I like the gun. It offers a lot for the price. I was disappointed by the battery situation because I bought a stick type for this gun that is now useless. The space is there but it is wired through the back now. This left a bitter taste in my mouth, oh well. I haven't shot it yet, so I'll post a second review once I see how it performs in a game.

"Great design concept. This will definitely get attention on the field. The execution of the UAR is flawed though. I understood before getting the UAR that there would be magazine compatibility problems, but that was easily resolved. I used the upgrade spring exclusively in this, and the UAR came in at a consistent 1.49 - 1.51 Joules. The stock Hopup is metal, and had a decent seal with the nozzle. Bucking tore after 1500 bbs, and was replaced with a ProWin AK hopup chamber and madbull bucking. Performance in shot consistency improved marginally.

The Version 3 gearbox is decent, but I don't believe it was intended to be used with the upgraded spring on a normal basis. After a year of use, and 8,000 - 10,000 bbs later the gearbox was removed for maintenance. I discovered that several teeth were broken on the gears, and yet performance did not seem to be any different than when I first used the UAR. Piston was in need of replacement after finding a few cracks.

The trigger on the UAR seemed to be more like a two stage trigger, quite a bit of play in the linkage before the trigger made contact with the tripper on the gearbox. This was easy to remedy with a set screw located inside the UAR, but the gearbox will need to be removed to access this screw. Once changed, trigger response improved due to slack being removed from linkage. Still has the same firm squeeze.

All-in-all, not a bad design, with modifications, and upgrading the gearbox, or replacing with an HPA system.

"This was a great gun for cqb but not particularly for outdoors.
Everything worked great but do not use the upgraded spring it comes with. This gun is not ready for that spring and mine broke when I used it.
