"This gun is great! It's very reliable, accurate, and fits comfortably. Great for CQB. It's got good power and really high rate of fire. Only thing about it is the ABS, but that isn't even a big problem. Recommended!

"amazing gun i will go straight to the pros and cons

pros:very accurate
fast rate of fire
very comfortable
great fps and is perfect for CQB

cons:iron sights are a little weird (i purchased a red dot and it makes the gun nearly perfect)
mag is a little wobbly when its in the gun (not that much of a con just somewhat doesn't agree with my OCD :P)

It performs great in battle. heads turned when i shot this beastly gun. people were testing it out and getting jealous. 2 friends actually got the gun about a week after i did.

overall the gun deserves the 5/5 considering how measly the cons are

"5 for 5. this gun really is incredible for tight cqb enviornment. out of the box it shot around 330 fps. i dont have much more to say besides that some of the parts are a little loose. like the mag tends to fall out a bit. not sure if its the magazines im using or the mag release switch and also the abs body is a pro/con depending on how you look at it. i mean fairly light but im used to full metal on most anything i buy. and to the comment below me i believe they said halo because it looks strikingly similar to a halo reach dmr. just extend the barrel with a new flash hider and a stubby acog scope aswell as a shorter m4 mag.

"This gun is AMAZING. I was skeptical to buy it when it was at $350 but when it dropped to $299.99 I bought it immediately. I have to say, it was more than worth every penny. It has great range and great accuracy. It comes with a 6.04 tightbore barrel in it so that improves it even more. It also has a great ROF. I have an 8.4v battery in it and it is amazing. There are only a few cons i can think of. One is that the orange flash hider is VERY frustrating to get off. Usually you can just put it under a hair-dryer for about 20 minutes then twist it off. I had it under a hair dryer for about and hour and a half and it still wouldn't budge. We finally just took a saudering iron and cut it completely in half and then took pliers and levered it off. The only other con i can think of is that when you pull the trigger is squeaks pretty loudly but that is an easy fix. Overall, this gun is amazing and i suggest it too everybody.

Pros:
Great ROF
Great Range
Great Accuracy
Functioning Bolt Catch
Trademarks
Pretty Easy to Disassemble
Bullpup (could be a con to some)

Cons:
Trigger Squeaks
Bullpup (could be a pro to some)

That's basically it. This gun is AMAZING and i suggest it to any airsofter.

This gun is amazing and even if you dont

"Easily the best gun I have ever used. shoots accurately and is easy to use. It only has two issues. hopup moves too easily (simple fix), and mag release is too easy to accidentaly hit (also an easy fix). I have an M130 spring (funny to shoot people with) in the gun. Spring change is a breeze. i have used it in one really long session with my friends, and it outperformed my friends KWA SR5 and Magpul Masada. Easily. I would recommend this gun for ANYONE, I love it.

"Ok, I hate to be the bearer of bad news on Moondogs review, but HE WAS WRONG on two points, one... IT DOES NOT HAVE A MOSFET SWITCH and two IT DOES NOT HAVE A Tight bore barrel. Other than that this is an amazing rifle. Very dependable from what I know so far, but time will tell. if you are looking for a sling, the only one I know of is by making it from PARA CORD sold on here OR you could try to use a quick release sling mount also sold on here for the rear sling mount. Over all a great rifle.

PROS:
External quality 10/10
Internal quality 8.5/10 (only because you have to take the gear box apart just to change the inner barrel or bucking.)
Over all build quality 9.5/10
Ease of changing the FPS 12/10

CONS:
Have to take the whole damn gear box apart to change the inner barrel OR hop bucking
Mag release is VERY touchy
Flash hider is a B**CH to get off, but CAN be done
YOU DON'T HAVE IT YET.

Over all I give this rifle a 9.5 out of 10 stars... GET IT, you wont be sorry.

"Hello, Daniel here doing my first review of a new release gun, the iron-sighted Tavor-21 by Ares. Here's the basic line-up I've found so-far on this gun:
Pros:
.Weight is perfectly balance around the middle so the gun is not to heavy on the back or front, making the aiming a lot smoother and faster than other rifles (compared to the train speed of an M16, no contest, the Tavor is many times faster)
.The body is solid with metal and high quality composites. It's fairly lightweight, which helps the above statement
.The gun comes pre-tested by an Ares technician and certified to fire at least over 330 FPS (mine was 113 m/s, approx 350-360 FPS), and after firing seems to fit the bill (don't have a chronograph)
.The magazine that comes with the gun is a 130rd full metal midcap, top quality and VERY solid
.Fire rate using a 1500 mAH 9.6V battery is impressive, more than enough for anyone's needs
.Iron sights are very well placed, front sight is adjustable by a screw. Back sight sticks a little so it's harder to open, but that's more a good thing than bad.

Cons:
.Only one downside, the magazines are a bit tricky to seat, so you may have to play with it for a second before it sits right

All in all, I'm giving it a 5 out of 5. The gun performs every bit as well as you would expect, and in my case has out-performed what I expected out of it. I would recommend this as a serious gift to any bull-pup loving airsoft players you know (or maybe just for yourself).

"Now I am kinda in the middle for this right now. I am a REALLY big fan of the Tavor, both in 5.56nato and in 6mm but I bought the Competition back in February 2019 and it's FPS was actually closer to 260 and not its posted 330-360. other then that, its amazing for mid-range and CQB. I would love to see more game-play with both variants and I would love to see more customization options for these rifles.

"I have had the awesome joy of owning one of these rifles (bought at AMS) and it has been one of the best non-M4 or AK rifles that is in my collection. I am a serious airsofter and can tell you that this gun is very decent for the price! The fact that it uses standard m4-style magazines is great, along with the ergonomic and good feel of the gun. I must say that a good red dot sight is preferred for this gun, but that is much up to you! I might also add that this is NOT the same gun from the popular Halo franchise which it states in the description. it may retain similarities, but the design is VERY different. I would recommend that whoever put that in the description that they take it out to avoid confusion. if you type "Halo MA5D Assault Rifle" into a search engine, you will realize that these two guns are very different.
anyway, what a great rifle; would recommend to anyone but the very top tier players!

"This is a very unique weapon, great all around weapon. Good enough range for field play. Not enough power to cut through thick brush though.. although I've been using this weapon along side a hk416, and a CM18-L so far I've only had issues with the hk, just as accurate because it's bullpup( gearbox near the rear) so you don't lose barrel length. Good fire rate good sound. Very mobile. Tough and thick grainy plastic (if you like smooth plastic body this is not for you) battery box is kinda small but manageable. No issues would recommend to any friend

"Disclaimer- first review.
I've used this gun for over a year now and ive got to say I love it more than most of the other automatics I've used. I've custom made a single point sling for it and run with a co2 revolver during matches. Here's what I've found- with no modifications yes I didn't have the slickest or hardest hitting rifle on the field, but I had the highest versatility. I can engage in open combat at range, accurately covering for teammates to move up, then also seamlessly slip into cqb to storm a building. The shorter length and bull pup design make it quick to move around and also for...unexpected situations allow one arm use as you can pull it into your shoulder due to the grip being forward.(bullpup). I have needed to and have used this to my advantage multiple times to draw my sidearm and fire both. (Not recommended) (yes it worked) I would however recommend a sight of some sort, the iron sights at least for me are adequate, but I use a green dot sight.
Pros: accurate
Decent rate of fire
Bullpup
Solid gun
Very stable,maneuverability
Cqb

Cons:(for me) iron sights(they are accurate,but unique)
Bullpup(easy to hit mag release by accident, very not good during a game)
Wish there was more metal(don't we always)

Wonderful beginner weapon

"Ok I recieved this gun about 3 weeks ago, and I've thrown around 5000 bbs through the gun, and it functions phenomenally, not to say it has its drawbacks
the back heavy part is something to get used to and it's loud when you fire the gun
Ok the part that that I'm not to happy with is the pins, they slide out, the back ones the most.
The trigger pin falls out when pushed from the side, and when shooting during a game that happen a lot
overall it's am good gun with a good ROF, and range.
It feels nice
by Gerry H. on 08/19/2016
"Overall, a very reliable gun. I love the look of it and it feels very ergonomic in my hands. Out of the box, it was around 330 fps, so not too bad for a cqb gun. the iron sights are made of plastic, so they are not the sturdiest ones on the market, but they get the job done. Overall, I would recommend this gun to anyone looking for a reliable cqb gun or for players on the beginner side of things.

PROS:
- battery space is very good and easily accessible
- accurate to about 75-100 ft
- good for close quarters engagements
- Extremely quiet. you can shoot people from a fairly short distance away and they will not even hear your shots.
- It is a short gun, which helps when turning corners.

CONS:
- my charging handle broke off
- mags are loose, i recommend getting thicker mags
- plastic iron sights
- barrel threads are 14mm positive, so make sure you buy the right suppressor.

Other than that, a very good gun!

"I've had this gun for a little over a year now, and for $175 it's not a bad gun. I've used it both outdoors and indoors, several thousand rounds, and no maintenance/cleaning/anything and it still works like new. Overall it performs quite well but the design of it just doesn't suit my fancy.

Pros:
-Takes M4 mags, so if you already have an M4 you can recycle the mags
-Battery compartment fits a 9.6v (8 cell) battery
-Hop up easily accessed by charging handle (also feels great to charge/release the "bolt")
-Very accurate, I've hit people at least 40-50 yards with a couple shots
-Good fps, mine shoots between 350 and 390
-Plastic outer body keeps weight down
-Short, bullpup configuration makes cornering in CQB a breeze
-Looks totally cool

Cons:
-Crappy sights. The rear sight is a peephole you could barely fit a toothpick through. Luckily they flip down and you can mount an optic
-Limited rail space, only the optic rail and it's barely enough space to fit my NcStar reflex. Also, the rear sight is high and it'll get in your way if you try to put anything big on there.
-Low ROF. On auto the gun cycles pretty fast, maybe 500-600 rpm, but on semi it feels a little slow. The low semi-ROF combined with the relatively long trigger pull may have you feeling disappointed if you play a lot on semi like I do
-VERY back-heavy. Yes, yes, I know it's a bullpup, but if you're buying this keep it in mind. Personally I would rather have an M4 for this reason alone
-Mag release. Because the gun is so back heavy, the people at IWI designed that nice little space between the grip and the receiver to carry the gun. The problem is that the mag release is *right there* - I actually dropped my magazine in the field while carrying the gun. (note- this is not a problem with the airsoft gun specifically, it's a problem with the design of the TAR and something to keep in mind)
-FPS was almost too high for the indoor arena I bought it for (they limit 350). If you want to play indoors with this gun, be prepared to downgrade the internals.

All in all, this gun is a great gun - if it's what you're looking for. It performs fine, feels great, shoots awesome, but the design of the TAR itself makes me wish for an M4.
